Floating Inventory: can it be found anywhere else?

By "floating inventory", I mean items you buy now but select later. This is such a cool ability, and I was wondering if anything else in 3.5 had it other then what I found already. I have found the Packrat feat (Dragon 354). (I also know the Pathfinder chronicler has it with Deep Pockets, but I'm talking 3.5.) Is there anything else with this ability?

Would an item of Major Creation (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/majorCreation.htm) fit what you're looking for?

1/day item would be:
[1800*5(spell level)*9(minimum caster level)]/5= 16,200gp.

Make a requirement that the user has 5 ranks in Craft(something): 14,580

...not really, although that would be useful too... Let me go grab the wording from what I have.

Packrat: "You may carry up to 10 gp per level of mundane or alchemical items without designating exactly what they are."

Deep Pockets: "A Pathfinder chronicler collects items as well as lore, picking up small amounts of this or that throughout her travels. As a result, she may carry unspecified equipment worth up to 100 gp per class level."

The idea is you buy some item(s) now, then later decide what those item(s) is/are.

I think there's something like this in the form of Shapesand and some sort of pigment thing. Can't read it right now, but pretty sure Shax (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=148101) knows.
