One of my gaming groups has begun playing Edge of the Empire recently, and we've found it incredibly easy/fun and free-flowing with little "down" or "prep" time. Fantasy Flight did a wonderful job creating this system and it made me start thinking. How could D&D be converted into a system such as this?
Granted, there'd have to be an entire overhaul of career and profession trees, but I think the base premise of the system could be done.
Has anyone else though of adapting D&D to fit this system?
