Hi all. Im posting yet again to draw upon the breadth of knowledge of my fellows rpgers.

What I'm looking for is any ideas on spells that give bonuses to skill checks such as heroism and the like. Dnd 3.5 seemed to have a great many of these types of spells such as divine insight or knowledge of the avatar that either give bonuses overall or a bonus to a specific check. I seem to be having a really hard time finding these types of spell in Pathfinder and was hoping you all might be able to lend me some help with this. Thanks in advance yall :)

There's a great one for Perception: Acute Senses (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/a/acute-senses).

Whooaaa. That is a damned good one. That would make an amazing continuous spell on an item. A little expensive but damn youd be able to spot or hear or search and find just about anything. Nice. Thanks man. Hopefully I can find some more like that.

A very high level Alchemist can use Alchemical Allocation on a potion of Acute Senses and apply the Eternal Potion discovery to it. (The discovery does not work on extracts, so you need to actually do it via AA; you could just drink the potion and expend it w/o AA, but...why waste the money?)

Note that cantrips/orisons are unlimited use in PF. So you really should be spamming Guidance constantly when not in combat if its on your list.

hmm okay lvl 1-4 bard spells (level range I could put on a wand) hasnt yielded any additional help so far. Maybe cleric will do better.

Oracles get access to a whole bunch of spells which allow rerolls and similar, and dual-cursed oracles get access to revelations which deal in rerolls (note the misfortune revelation is only harmful if you want it to be, you could use it on your allies to their benefit). Witches and other classes which may access witch hexes can use the fortune & misfortune hexes.

Halflings get an option to apply divine favor to skill checks rather than attack/damage, which might be useful for your clerical ambitions. Tap Inner Beauty (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/t/tap-inner-beauty) is +2 to anything charisma-based.

There's probably a million other spells which give bonuses, but these are what I remember just now.

My classes and race are already decided actually so all im really looking for is just spells. Tap inner beauty is a pretty good one for sure if your going to be playing a face at all which I am. Right now im just going through all the different classes spell lists up to level 4 to find good wand spells especially ones that give skill bonuses.

Animal Aspect (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/a/animal-aspect) (inc. greater) would be a handy wandable spell, similarly disguise/alter self. Animal Aspect is not on the bard or cleric spell lists though; are you using UMD or class levels to activate the wand?

yeah two levels of artificer to be able to make wands for any class, caster level 16 total at level 20 from gifted blade/soulbolt levels, and UMD out the wazoo. Heres a really nice third party ranger spell.

with the 1 hour duration you could put the greater version as continuous on a piece of equipment for cheap

The Fox's Cunning/Owl's Wisdom/etc spells will give you a stat boost, which can give you a bonus on the appropriate skills.

Humans can use the Bestow Insight (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/b/bestow-insight) spell, which gives you a +2 to +6 bonus on one skill.

Well, Invisibility does give +20 to Stealth. And then there's Glibness...
