(If this has been gone over and solved elsewhere, pls give a link)

So you have a tiny humanoid with a reach weapon, I have heard two opinions on how this works: the reach weapon can still only be used on somebody in your space and The reach weapon can hit somebody 5 ft away but not in your space (assuming it has a area u can't hit). Can the playground help my with which one is correct in 3.5?

By the book?

Tiny creatures have 0' of natural reach (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/combat/movementPositionAndDistance.htm#bigandLittleCreatu resInCombat).

Most reach weapons double the wielder’s natural reach (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/equipment/weapons.htm#reachWeapons).

2 x 0 = 0.

However, as a houserule, it is reasonable that a tiny creature with a reach weapon can strike adjacent squares.
