Tried this a few years ago and wondered about developing it again.
The PCs are aboard a flight travelling from London to Barcelona when it runs into trouble passing over the Pyrenees.
Next thing they know the aircraft they're aboard has broken into three or more pieces with the section they're aboard precariously ledged off a cliff well they assume its a cliff until they look over and discover they're above what looks like an ocean of lava far, far below.
I'd go into more detail but wanted to see what you think about this?
