The artist from Erfworld book 1, Jamie Noguchi, has been working on a comic called Yellow Peril (http://ypcomic.com/) for the past 3 years. I recommend checking it out.

He is currently running a Kickstarter for the second book of collected YP comics, and is offering some cool stretch goals, original sketches and art rewards.

I actually really like it. The "Will she or Won't she" thing seems a bit overplayed, but the author knows that and has said he's moving on with different storylines for now.
