Non-Armor Armor bonuses and Polymorph (Pathfinder)

Suppose you have a source for an "armor bonus" not from wearing armor. Does it go away when you polymorph?

Specific situation:

I'll be playing a Dark Tapestry Oracle. If I use Cloak of Darkness to conjure a shadowy darkness that gives me an armor bonus, do I lose the armor bonus when I use Many Forms for Beast Shape or Greater Polymorph?

Does it make a difference if I use Many Forms first then Cloak of Darkness?

I'm pretty sure you keep the bonus. You're not actually wearing armor, just using an ability that gives you an armor bonus. It's really no different than a mage using Mage Armor before polymorphing, and I'm certain that works too.

It's one of the reasons Dark Tapestry Oracles make excellent shapeshifters.
