I like the preview art. Cartoony, but very clean. With just model sheets and frames to go on, it's hard to tell what the mood or the quality of the story telling will be, but I do like the art quite a bit.

I like the look of it, the art reminds me of the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. No idea how it'll turn out, but from the words used (with lot's and lot's of w) I believe that it'll be the kind of sweet and innocent cartoon filled with much death and destruction.

The animation does look very windwaker-esque, I wonder what it'll be like

Did anyone else notice that the dragon on that sketch-bit was labelled "Dwagon"?

Yup. Cute witty-itty-bitty-kiddy spelling is a sure sign that this will be a most grim and dark piece of graphic fiction. (Because, let's face it, this is the Internet, we're big on irony here. Or was that idiocy?)

Well, the internet is largely comprised of the only thing Einstein was sure is infinite.

And I personally hope for dark, ironic humor. It would be a nice contrast to OOTS's light, ironic humor.

The one white-haired guy in the fifth panel reminds me of Zapp Brannigan from Futurama.

The one blond guy in the fifth panel reminds me of Zapp Brannigan from Futurama.

Jeez, you weren't kidding. He really does look like that idiot Zapp. I hope that was done on purpose.

I love the name "Jillian (Top right panel)." It's standard "Take a normal name and expand it to sound fancy" and I love it.

I think this looks very interesting and very cool can't wait for the strip to come out!

Looks pretty good. But the art is only part of a comic - once we see some complete strips, we'll see how the writing is.

i can see where your coming from. I think it looks good, but an example of the humour would have been nice.:smallfrown:

The art reminds me of the Bone comics for some reason... although it's definitely more similar to Wind Waker.

Hmmm oversized swords are generally a big turn off for me (the damned thing's bigger than he is!) but overall I like the look of the art. Bedsides a focus on art is usually undeserved, any webcomic lives and dies by the quality of the writing.

I found the art work very good...i'm not saying giant eyebrows expressions are bad Mr. B. I'm curious to see what it turns out to be. The other thing I like about it is now I can check a comic EVERY day!

Looks sexy, I APPROVE O.O

Though more to the point, the diminutive peoples look pretty cute, though the face images are a bit realistic-ish, old, and quite a contrast in my opinion...

On the otherhand, I know little to nothing about art

The art actually put me off a bit when I first saw it... but then, I'm used to manga style drawings and cartoons tend to do that. It's still good art, just not what I usually get into.

I'm still going to read it, though. :D

I was just thinking what those things are. Hmm umber hulks sounds right. Anyone else got ideas? Oh and are we sure its DnD based? Not sure if I read that somewhere.

P.S. your right those are the cutest lil umber hulks
P.P.S. The art is friggin awesome

I'm looking foreward to it. I have to say that I really like those many-eyed spider things in the preview art for some reason. It might suck, it might not. It might be rather good. the lack of punchlines doesnt worry me.

See, but that's what Rob's here for! With him on board, it can't help but be awesome, imo. :D
