I cut someone's hair before he dies.

and i cast resurrect spell to that hair.

Is it works?

So, here's the relevant text in the Resurrection (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/resurrection.htm) spell for your question (emphasis mine)...



The condition of the remains is not a factor. So long as some small portion of the creature’s body still exists, it can be resurrected, but the portion receiving the spell must have been part of the creature’s body at the time of death.

Based on the spell description, the answer is negatory. However, you could gain a circumstance bonus to Scry on the original hair owner, or do a number of other spells that use a totem/doll/icon to focus/target a la V----- (real world religion).

4th lvl druid spell, reincarnate, you only need a piece of the remains, just be prepared for the person you are resurrecting to come back as a gnome though

Note that True Resurrection does not require a body or part of any kind.
