Very easily, if you take all of the Monk levels first and don't mind an alignment shift. Changing alignment doesn't result in any loss of Monk class features.

Dragon Magazine #335 has a Chaotic monk variant, but Dragon is one of those sources that routinely get banned.

Just out of curiosity though, what's the reason for wanting to combine them?

am applying for a game that everyone is from a music band, so everyone needs to have atleast 3 levels of bard, and we are creating 10th level characters.

So am thinking of some sort of bard/monk whatever creation.

I would like to suggest barbarian instead of monk - unless of course somebody else has already taken that slot. Bardbarian's are fun to play as from what I've heard/read.

You can if you use Paladin as an intermediary.

The Battledancer from Dragon Magazine Compendium is similar to Monk, and has it's abilities keyed off Charisma, so might be a better fit. Still, a Bard/Battledancer multiclass is going to be fairly weak.
