Thief

[Chainsaw Hobbit]

A reboot of the classic Thief trilogy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thief_(series)) is set to be released some time in 2014. As a fan of stealth games and steampunk, I am rather exited.

I heard the game has had a long and troubled development, and despite the existence of two cinematic trailers, we have yet to see any actual gameplay. This worries me. Games that have gone through development hell rarely turn out well. Still, I cross my fingers, and hope for the best.

I have not played the original Thief games, but after coming off a recent Dishonored kick, I look forward to it(and have been since April's Game Informer)

I think I heard something about Garret's hands always being onscreen, and actively interacting with the environment. This sounds great. I really hope they don't screw it up.

Quite looking forward to it. My recent playthrough of Gold and Metal Age has got me longing for it quite a bit. I really do want to see some gameplay footage though. Looks pretty at the least.
