Space. The final frontier.
For thousands of sapient species and a handful of artificial intelligence, the infinity of the cosmos is a constantly changing playground.
Yet, in the depths of the void, they are not alone.
Many mysteries remains undiscovered.
Many hidden dangers are yet unrevealed.
Many horrors are lurking, hungry.
And in space, nobody will hear you scream...

----------------------------------------

You are "It". All of you are "It". "It" is a creature of undefined origin.
"It" is neither plant nor animal, neither female or male.
"It" is "It". Currently, its shape looks like a 1 meter long black leech.
Its skin is smooth, fleshy, unprotected, yet pulsing with muscular energy and vigor.
Tiny yet diamond-hard teeth.
An fairly, snake-like mouth.
Thin, underdevelopped eyes.
Fairly weak ears.
But already the mind of a cunning predator.

A mind where several spirits coexist.
Each is sparking thoughts that sometimes cooperate, sometimes compete with those sparked by the other spirits.
But in the end, they all have two simple short-term goals :
Survival as a necessity.
Feeding as a desire.

Players are welcome to join in on the spot.
Simply post here to announce your interest and then join the (still to be posted) IC thread.

Freely inspired from there :
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/25023529/

----------------------------------------

The rules :

Actions :

- I post the current situation as perceived by "It" in the IC thread

- Players post suggestion for the next action of "It" and roll 1d100 to determine success.
Sometime, success is automatic but having a roll can help me figure out in case the action requires skill, speed, luck, cunning, strength, ect...

- I update the situation each time there is at least suggestions from 5 different players OR every 6 hours IRL, whichever come first.
The suggestion with the most votes get picked.
In case of a tie, we wait.

- Players receive 1 "Willpower" point each time they have posted 5 suggestions, whether or not the suggestions have been picked.
They also get a "Mind" point when 5 of their suggestions have been picked up.
This is to encourage players to stick around and contribute in a meaningful way.

- Willpower points can be used to encourage a certain action.
Using a Willpower point on a suggestion has 2 consequences :
Adding +1 vote to said suggestion
Adding +10 on the roll, therefor increasing the chance of success.

- Mind points can be used to order a spontanous evolution
The player describes the evolution in simple terms
And "It" gets it without the need to feed of a relevant prey.

Evolution :

"It" starts as a fairly unattractive lifeform but it can evolve itself each time it feeds by assimilating the DNA or Knowledge of its preys.
Each time a prey is being eaten, I'll offer a set of evolution to be chosen from.
The process is the same as for the actions, except 1d100 roll is not necessary here.

The only exception is for spontanous evolution.
In this case, the choice is made by a single player.

Each evolution is a minor change for "It" and is reversible.

The exact current profile of "It" will always be summed up in the first post of the IC thread for everyone to keep track of it.
Along with a list of the victims/meals.

Somewhere cold and dark

It's alive...

------------------------------

You awake on the cold, hard floor, sticky ichor covering your body as you slittle out of an already cooling cocoon.
There's very little light around apart from small, dimed flashes running parallel to the walls.
Your eyes, still used, can only pick up a grey picture of shadows dancing as the lights flash.

After a few moments to assert your surroundings, you feel the Hunger rising.
There is no food around but your instinct tell you to search.
Three tunnels are offered to you :
The left one and the the right one, both dark and without specific features except vine-things running on their ceiling and the small flashing lights on the ground.
The one behind you is also very dark, with nothing but small flashing lights on the ground but open to a very bright light after a few hundred meters.
The light is too bright to see anything else past it.

You are hungry.

Scan the room and notice the light behind, instinctive fear of being exposed in an open space drives us away, make way towards the left tunnel avoiding the pulsing lights. Hunting instincts say to stay out of the light and search for prey inside it.

search for living prey roughly the same size as us. [roll0]

(OOC : I'll go for a minimum of 3 people until we get more)

------------------------------

You do not hesitate long, your mind made with absolute certitude about following the left tunnel.
It is a relatively boring trip, the more so that the Hunger grows and you become impatient to fill your digestive tube with some flesh.
The tunnels is not completely straight and you make several turns.
Keeping track of distance and time is still difficult but you do remember turning left, right, left, left, right, left.

As you go along the tunnel, you notice several small alcove on the walls, as large as your are long but not very deep, dispose at irregular interval.
Their surface is smooth yet cold.
A small light with 12 smallers ones under it is hanging on the left side of each alcove, at about one and half your height.
So far, their nature or purpose is alien (no pun, here) to you.

Eventually, though, you see a dimmed red light basking a portion of the tunnel, coming from one of the alcove...which is actually the entrance to ANOTHER tunnel.
In addition of the red light, several boxes are in the main tunnel.
as you pause to watch more carefully, a hulking form steps from the new tunnel into your view.
It is tall, nearly touching the ceiling, and has to bow slightly to pass through the entrance of the new tunnel.
It is advancing clumsily, carrying a box with little care, as if more concerned about not falling than about letting the box fall.
When the box is on the ground, the hulking form goes back into the new tunnel, temporarily hiding the red light as it walks away.

You are still in the main tunnel, about 10 meters away from the light coming from its entrance.
The small flashing lights on the ground are dim enough not to reveal your position from far away but there isn't much hidding places here if somebody approaches.

Obvious choices :
> Keep advancing in the main tunnel
> Hide among the boxes
> Enter the new tunnel
> Wait where you stand
> Turn back

Of course, there might be other choices and any plan would need more detail than any of those short options.

You trail as fast as possible toward the first box, using its shadow to hide from the light of the new tunnel.
Fantasy of feast already swirling through your mind and dulling your judgement, you anticipate the return of the clumsy giant.
Yet, a small doubt arise in your mind, one of fear and caution :
What if this prey is too strong ? Maybe finding another snack would be safer.
The doubt is quickly silenced by the overwhelming hunger, several voices screaming together :
"-Rip its soft, tasty underbelly !!"
"-No !! The leg first !! Then we wrap and bite the neck !!"
"-Blood !! Flesh !!"

Quickly, the dilema is more about how the towering beast will be killed rather than about your own safety.
Time passes as your mind slowly shape a plan and the hulking form returns.
From up close, it is indeed a true giant.
The form is blocky, with straight angles only interupted by several vine-like things like the ones running on the ceiling.
Its skinny upper limbs carry another box which easily weights tens of times your own body.

You cloud easily attack the lower legs, as they do not move very fast.
There are three of them, larger than the two upper ones but somehow shorter, bending in the middle.
Each of their steps is clumsy and let out vibrations through the ground that, from behind the box, you can feel traveling through your body.
They look like they are made of the same stone-like material as the floor and walls.

So is the rest of the body... except for the top, where another form, this one fleshy and delicious, is sitting, imitating each of the giant's move.
It looks exactly like the giant, except it has a pyramid-like head and instead of a flat one.
It is about half your size.
You could probably climb the body of the giant to reach the prize at the top but being detected before you reach your goal is a possibility.

Your trail of thoughts are interrupted when the giant drops the box, apparently not noticing you, and then turn around and start walking away slowly.
What do you do ? Quick !!

Obvious choices :
> Try to follow the giant silently in the new tunnel
> Try to attack the lower legs of the giant, then coil around it and try to bite (which part ?)
> Try to get to the lower belly of the giant and bite
> Try to get to the top of the giant's head and eat the little one
> Wait where you stand, hidding
> Try to run away (which side ?)

Of course, there might be other choices and any plan would need more detail than any of those short options.

To coil and spring to such height would be impossible with the leech-like body you currently have.
However, there seems to be a concensus in your mind that you should aim for the top and speed is of the essence.
As soon as the giant turns back toward the new tunnel, you creep from behind the boxes and rush for the nearest leg.
You first attempts to trip it but, as the leg itself is much more massive than you, this fails and as the leg rises with you attached, you start to climb.
This isn't exactly easy but the giant doesn't seem to mind.
Having avoided falling and being crushed by its legs without it even noticing the stain, you reach the top.

What follows is bloody and brutal.
The little runt's body shakes with panick and surprise as your razor-sharp teeth find its ô so delicate neck.
It moves its arms frenetically, trying to reach you as you burrow deep into its very throath and chest, gorging yourself in a frenzy.
This causes the giant to twist and thrust and shake incoherently, hitting the walls several times.
But despite the clumsiness of its moves, its three lower limbs seems to do a good job at keeping him from collapsing.
It eventually stops moving...and so does your snack.
It is small and doesn't completely satisfy you.

But the face is full of surprise.
You are happy as pleasurable shivers travel through your changing flesh.

With a glorious shriek, you shed some skin on both sides of your head as vents open, revealing new pulsing drums that filter, focus and emplify sounds, letting your mind acknowledge them better.
The flesh morphes some more, concealing the fragile new organs behind layer of cartilage.
Your body is also a little bit bulkier and your vision slightly less blurry.
But no real change on that front :
It could just be that your stomach isn't empty anymore.

EVOLUTION :
> Sense : Basic hearing (you can hear some sounds)

You are now at the top of the giant, who doesn't move anymore. Its limbs are laying limp, devoid of the energy and strength previously witnessed.
You spend a few moments to familiarise yourself with the overwhelming amount of sensations you are now aware of.
You now notice the humming of the lights on top of you, as well as the many other small noises of this place.
None comes from something delicious, this your instinct tells you.

The fluids of the little snack are everywhere, making moving around slightly slippery but not a real challenge.
The tunnel you are in is much better lit than the old one.
It continues for a few meters before reaching a large room, equaly well lit, with three remaining boxes.
Behind you, the old tunnel is still there, the same.
As you are about to decide where to go, a crackeling noise starts from the Giant.
Yapping sounds, in quick successions, come from a small thing attached to the top of the Giant.
They stop for a few seconds then repeat, as if expecting a reaction.

> Go back to the old tunnel
> Explore the new room
> Something else ?

Please try to list several steps of progression, along with your short-term goals.

(OOC : Hum... so basically "try something with the giant then hide somewhere")

---------------------------

What to do, what to do ?
The noise visibly make you panick or something.

At first, you try bashing the source of it with your teeth but only got a slight pain in the head for your trouble.
Probably annoyed by said pain, you started to hit everything in front of you on the top of the giant.
You spread a mess of gore (from the snack) on a light with strange moving thingies you don't understand.
You make several small pieces of the giant jump around or fizzle with shiny sparks.
All of this result only in the giant raising both arms in a large hydrolic noise, smashing the lights just above before running right ahead in the new room.
It keeps bumping around madly, smashing more lights as well as hurling boxes and various devices which either explode or break appart.
Eventually, the hulking stonethingy collapses under his own weight in a apocalyptic hubbub, the humming inside it dying slowly at the same time as the lights on its top.
This doesn't stop the strange cracking noise, though.
Only make it somehow panicky too...

You are still on top, albeit shaken by the experience and barely wiser.

Your first reflex is to hide.
Darkness and boxes are the hidding place you know.
The two remaining big lights are now too high up the ceiling but they only lit small parts of the room, providing plenty of darkness.
Boxes are mostly broken and their content, which doesn't look edible, is spread across the room.
But you can still hide in them... or inside the wrecked giant.

You quickly inspect the boxes to find the best hidding spot.

The content is mostly made of items in stone-like material, like the Giant.
Not tasty and even not possible at all to eat most of them, though you could if you were really to take your time.
Instinct tells you it might not be worth it, though.
Some are thin rectangle, like the light on the giant or on the side of the alcoves and of the new tunnel, except these are not luminous at all.
Others are long with a slender, hollow cylinder on one side and a oddly shaped "foot" on the other.
Lot's of small things that are also slightly hot to the touch, some blocky, some egg-shaped.

Suddenly, you pick up noises. Steps. Lighter but faster than the giant's were.
No more time to search around. You hide among a broken box near the giant.

Two creatures, much like your previous snack, arrives.
They are carrying long, slender cylinders like the ones you found in the boxes.
They keep making short yapping sounds, one after the other, and uppon entering the ravaged room, these sounds become faster and panicky.
Small lights appears on the end of their cylinders and start sweeping the area.
One of them steps near your hidding box, light passing directly on your eyes and briefly blinding you.
You move slightly to protect your eyes and the light fixed itself on the box.
It continues it sweep after a few seconds, though, fixing on the giant, with the bloody remains of your snack hanging from the top, fluid dripping on the ground.
Now the yapping sounds ARE really panicky.
Others are joining in, even more similar to the ones which came from the giant.

(OOC : the dices are not kind to you all...)

You wait, trying as best as you can to stay hidden from any light source, slowly moving to keep your body out of sight as the snacks move, now clearly alert.
Finding their butchered friend didn't help to make them careless.
As one inspects the body and the giant, the other launches nervous look around, flailing his cylinder around, the room flashing in the pilar of light.
Eventually, they start walking away, covering each other nervously.

This is when everything went wrong.
Was it the light that cought part of your bloodstained body ?
Or was it you first who went on the offensive because of primal instinct ?
It is not very clear as it happens fast.

One of the snack screams as the light reveal you.
Reacting to the shout, it fixes itself right on your position, which provoke surprised shouts.
Another light, this one a searing beam of pain, hit your skin with a glancing blow.
Many more follow as you trail hastily around the box to hit head first the midriff of the nearest snack.
His friend hesitates as your victim screams in pain, falling back on the floor as the full mass of your body hit him now.

More screams, a lot of fluids splashing as the entangled mess of you and his limbs are rolling around.
But eventually, more searing lights flash in the dark, imprinting a residual white veil on the back of your eyes
Pain run through your body but you do not stop tearing apart your prey.
The victim stops moving, some of the lances of light having pierced right through him (or her... you have no notion of gender yet).
The screaming hasn't stopped though, as his friend is now hysterical, backing off while trying to keep the light on you.
He fails.

Now they are both dead.
There are only two sounds in the room:
The panicked crackling coming from the device the snacks wear.
And the feeding.
You are not hungry anymore. Not at all.
But your body is in excrusiating pain, several holes cut clear through it.
Already, the flesh is healing but the process is not pleasant.
As you feed of their flesh, the name of the creatures appears in your mind : Ar'Torians

EVOLUTION

> Mind : Knowledge (You can understand some concepts from the Ar'Torians, such as the words they are using to designate something in both their yapping sounds and something they called the "Galactic Basic")

Note : you are heavily injured, with several burns and at least two point-blank shots through your body.
Fast Healing means you will eventually recover but it also means you will need to feed and rest.
The Ar'Torians being small (less than 1 meter tall), it should be relatively easy to kill lone individual, even in a frontal assault.
But two or more of them, if they are alert and armed, could very much kill you in a straight fight.

You heal slowly, each bite providing a little more strength to your cells, allowing your wounds to mend. Your brain is also changing, evolving into something more complex. It is regrouping from the many individual cells spread through your body into a single organ.
In your mind, shapes are forming, with sounds linked to them. Those are not the memories of your victims. Rather, it is some kind of remnants from their consciousness. And it is now part of you, giving you raw, unreffined knowledge.

Some of the items around you have now more specific meaning.
You are on a ship, probably an heavy freighter.
You do not know exactly what a heavy freighter is for but you know that this is place is one, as the word impose itself to your mind.
In the hands of your preys, their hands gripped to the handle, are laser rifles. Those are the source of your pain.
You do not understand yet how they work but you can at least name them accurately.
Other words are shaping themselves in your mind :
The doors, the access keyboards, the communicators...
Sometime, you also have a basic idea of their true purpose, although the exact workings are still unknown.

This tells you that, since the Ar'Torians spoke in their communicator and that those are now silent, more Ar'Torians should be on their way here.
You are not hungry. So you should move.

"Grab this 'communicator' in our teeth then flee back the way we came. Now we know some of their words we can spy on them and ambush the prey after we are healed and hungry.
We should also make a nest to stay in, somewhere comfy while we wait."

OOC: Origins!
I bet we are a science experiment that broke out during transit. Shuttled from two research stations, the boxes being supplies or repair thingies. Some of the other stuff would be test equipment, containment devices and non-evo-inducing food for the earlier version of us (that may or may not still have either property (Food or noevo) since we evolved and eat some actual people).

We should search the room for vents or smaller passages that we can squeeze through, if we can get into maintanence shafts we can move round the whole "ship" easier and more unseen.

You make up your mind : best to step (creep ?) back to the shadows of the main corridor and then go back to the place where you awoke.
For a moment, you hesitate about taking the communicator into your teeth, wondering if you could decypher the words you could maybe ear.
Several voices says "no" and so you let it behind.

The travel is uneventful but you do realize more about your surrounding.

The alcoves are actually closed doors, with the 13 lights being access keyboards to open them.
They are too high for you to reach yet but this could change.
Of course, you would still need the codes.

The vine-like things are cables, running through the whole ship to bring energy from various power generator.
The bigger ones can help you locate places where a lot of energy is needed.
But since they sometime go through several decks and you cannot, it might just be a fool errand.
Still good clue as to what to expect.

The giant is a power armor used for manual lifting.
Not the greatest weapon but a useful one against unarmed opponent like you if the arms of the armor can keep the danger away from the pilot.

No large vents are found on the ground of the main tunnels but you hear some working near the ceiling.
It's too dark for you to see and too high for you to reach, though.
You could probably reach them if you climbed on a box and then could jump a bit further than your current body allow.

Eventually, you reach the spot at which you awoke.
Again three tunnels :
The left one, which you came from.
The right one, which looks similar, both in apprerance and sounds.
The one behind, with the bright light and now with sounds of more humming lights and ventilation.

You coil your body in the darkest corner you can find facing the light and rest, your eyes watching for movement, your ears alert.

Several hours passes before you hear footsteps coming. It doesn't take long before, emerging from the left tunnel, a group of two other Ar'Torians arrive, their three legs moving slowly as they search the tunnel. They will probably see you if they get too close but then maybe they won't.
They have flashlights attached to their laser rifles and look nervous.
Their communicator is crackling :

[[[ blablabalabalabla*Find*balabalabla ? balabalabla*killed three of us already*balabalabla*Cargo Bay N°2*.
balabalabla*before arrival*balabalabla*or it's quarantine*balabalabla*want to avoid*balabalabla." ]]]

The two Ar'Torians give brief answers, of which you only make out the words "Junction 4", "clear", "heading" and "Cargo Bay N°1".
While not perfect, you are getting good at this, though the lack of wounds, blood loss and splitting headache is probably helping.

OOC : Average of the dices is 63 for the option "sneak behind them and follow slowly until they split"

------------------------------------------------------------

You wait, coiled and silent, as the two nervous Ar'Torians pass you.
They meticulously look around, sweeping floor, walls and ceiling with light at each step.
The light falls on you. Your body tenses, ready to extend and bite the nearest prey to buy you a few split seconds.
But then the light passes and so do the Ar'Torians.
Did they really miss you ? Or are they getting away to call reinforcement ?

You don't bother to think too much about it : the sight of two snacks so close bring forth found memories of your first kill, the taste of its flesh overwhelming all senses and reason.
Slowly, you creep behind the patrol, careful not to make a sound, your reptations ajusted on their steps.
The Ar'Torians are stopping at each door, checking if it has been open.
You pick up words of their conversation and, slowly, you decypher the meaning by associating several words.
It is still a bit blurry and confused but it brings new insight.

"-I say we *blablabla* just vaccum *blablabla* section. *blablabla* would *blablabla* the bastard out *blablabla* !!

Eventually, they reach a door and pause longer than before in front of it.

"-*blablabla*been open since T'olki *blablabla*.
You know the *blablabla*. I get in. You watch the corridor."

"-*blablabla*just seal it and wait for *blablabla*?"

"-*blablabla* time to do *blablabla* opened door."

One of them touch the access keyboard, making the door open before he gets in.
The other is checking the way forward in the corridor, looking as if he expects something big coming out of the shadows.
He didn't see you... yet.

You are hungry...

And I guess you try to sneak away.
-----------------------------------------

This hearing sense let you handily know where NOT to go.
You follow backward the steps of the patrol you just tried and half succeeded to ambush.
The steps are getting closer.
You search for a place to hide but there is none.

You could try to open one of the many closed doors by bashing the access keyboards next to them.
This would take some time as you would still have to hit the keyboard with your head and then it would have to be the right code... which you do not know.
So... bad idea ?

You could try the vents near the ceiling IF you could reach them... which you cannot because, despite the spine and new muscles, you are still too small.
Though you could find a box or something to climb on.

You could of course try to hide like you did before, hoping the patrol would just pass without noticing you and...

Behind you, you hear voices that echo through the corridor.
Apparently, the prey just got freed by his friends.
There are four, maybe five of them now.
And they are getting close.
This is getting better and better.

No box. No open door. And you finally get (again) at your starting point.
Behind you, the corridor with your pursuers.
In front of you, the corridor leading to the room where you slaughtered three preys.

They are not far behind and they have been joined by more preys (or should we say hunters, now ?), probably coming from the corridor with the light. Too many steps to count how many. A new feeling awakens in you.
Is it fear ?

As you arrive at destination, you stop for a moment.
There are no more boxes !! And the giant robot is gone too !!
It has been several hours, after all and they were busy moving them before you killed the first Ar'Torian. But at least there aren't MORE Ar'Torians with guns right here. Not one to despair, you stick to the wall, coil your body and try to jump to get your teeth stuck into something... anything !! anything that could help you get to the vent. Four times you try and four times you fail.

"-There !! Look !!!"
"-By the Great Matusom, what is this thing ?!!"
"-Shoot !! Shoot !! Fire at will !!"

The searing lances of light race through the corridor, some hitting the walls near you, sending showers of sparks and missing you by an inch. You try a sixth time and succeed to gnaw at the wall, hanging about 1,5 meter above the ground, holding by the skin of your teeth, litteraly. With preys firing laser at your.
You use your tail to push but cannot let go with your teeth. You try nevertheless... and fail, hit by a glancing laser shot that burn your skin and send spikes of pain through your body.
As you roll around, you see your agressors. There are seven of them, all armed and firing through a corridor 2 meters wide.

I think we have to roll (feels like cheating if we don't), please get high!!! [roll0]

Any chance I can use a Willpower Point to wipe out the other rolls and take Direct Command?
The others are backing me up so they wouldn't stop me.

OOC :Straken is right, it would be cheating.
Average would be 66
+10 from the willpower, that's 76.
But your choice has 3 voices anyway so it get picked.
So yeah... 94
-1 Willpower for the First Voice
But it's still going to be messy

-----------------------------------------------

The lights keep hitting the walls, ceiling and ground, making a firework in the small, enclosed space of the corridor.
It would be beautiful if you weren't in the middle of it.
But while panick nearly overtook you the moment before, you are now much more focus.
After the futile denial of the hopelessness of your situation, you are now simply angry, with a calm, targeted furor.

You snake as fast as you can toward the preys, hissing all the way at the top of your yet-to-be-fully-developped lungs, a mix of saliva and blood drooling from your maw as you advance.
Be it because of fear or lack of training, the Ar'Torians miss most of their shots.
Most of them : you are hit twice by the time you get to the first prey, hurling yourself at his hands like a snack hitting a mouse, chomping fingers as you do.
You get a hard, solid blow from the cross of a rifle for your efforts but this only make you more angry as you jump in the middle of the pack, teeth clampsed at someone's neck a second, to someone else's arm the next, spraying blood and flesh as you go.
The preys keep firing, sometime even hitting each other as they each try to put you down before you rip their face of.

A voice of reason rises :
"-You bloody morons !! Stop firing and retreat to the room to get more... Aaaaaargh !! It's eating my ear !! My face !! Help merglrlgarrrrrrr !!!"
His screams are stopped abruptly by a laser shot in the head... or at least what's left of it as you fall down, dripping fluids which are not entirely yours as you chomp at a leg, slithering between the two others as a shield against the hail of lasers.
Reason went silent again, letting madness take over as the panicked scream of the crewmembers and your sinister hissing echo through the ship's corridors.

There are only two preys left standing, the other either dead or agonising in pain or/and pools of ichor.
One has its back at the wall, a bleeding wound in two of her tights, the third one doing its best to keep her up while she is moving toward the door, trying to fill another powercell with shaking hands.
The other one just runs away screaming, a messy stump where his hand should be.
Left behind, his teammate stumble and fall, losing her grip on the slippery handle of her rifle as she hits the ground hard, a short piercing yield passing her lips.
She crawls back, eyes fixed on your wounded yet dreaded form as you rises from the neck of your last victim like some kind of hellish Cobra who would have traded its stupid hood for diamond-sharp teeth.
Her wounded legs are flaying around pathetically in your direction, as to give her some kind of shield or illusion of safety.
While she unsheet a blade from her side.

"-S... Stay back !! Let me alone !!"

You are angry. You are hungry. You are in pain. You are... so tired.

> Kill her quickly
> Let her go to the room
> Other ?

"Stupid, messy, clumsy" the spark commented. "Take too many hits when we could be safe and take our time." But somehow things worked out although they shouldn't rely on this often, time for the next move.

Why have only two when they can have three? "don't let him run away or he will tell more about us!" was the excuse the spark gave to satisfy his hunger.

[roll0] chase and kill the one escaping first before the others.

"We have enough prey here to sate us, but we don't have a minion to take hits for us. Pick up a knife then drop it while looking at her meaningfully. If she obeys we can train this prey to lure more yummy prey and not be eaten herself."
The First speaks, mind already thinking of an entire phalanx of guards taking the hurty-lights instead of us, bringing more yummies to be nommed on and rewarded by not being eaten themselves

How will we train it? We can't communicate (yet). Let's eat her and maybe we will develop that kind of ability for later.

OOC :
2 votes for killing the wounded prey.
3 votes for not killing the wounded prey, and 2 of those want to make her a pet...
Average roll for the interaction : 55

-----------------------------------------------

You let her crawl a few meters, biting a few mouthfull from a nearby corpse as she does.
She make a piercing scream of terror and disgust as you tear flesh from the bone of her former crewmate.
Then start sobbering, all the while slowly backing off.

Delicately, with your teeth, you pick up the belt of one of your victims, a knife still hanging in its sheath. Then you advance slowly, drool dripping along the belt as you get closer to the wounded Ar'Torian.
From her attitude, you can tell that she is scared ****less.

"-No... No... Noooo !!!!"

She is pointing the blade right in front of her now, her legs no longer kicking in the air as she tries to put as much distance between her fleshy bits and your head.
She reaches for the communicator.

"-Somebody, please... It's... HELP !!"

You drop the knife in her direction before rising in your full glory, hissing all along as you reach a full 80 centimeters above the ground, only the last part of your tail touching the ground.
This does not seem to impress the prey or at least not in a good way, as she screams louder than ever.
Good is she noisy !!

[[ Control to R'ita. *blablabla* confirm your *blablabla*. Over to you ]]

The voice is cold, dispassionate.

"-C... *blablabla*, is that you ? Please send more *blablabla* !! *blablabla* Cargo Bay N°2. It... It *blablabla* all."

[[ Acknowledged, *blablabla*. *blablabla* for your *blablabla*. It has been an *blablabla* you. Mister J'ermic, seal Cargo Bay N°2 and *blablabla*. ]]

She stopped whipering. Thank you, Captain, whatever you just told her.

"-... You *blablabla* me to die !!"

[[ I can and I must. Not that it *blablabla* any *blablabla* anymore lifes on this. *blablabla* vacuum *blablabla*.]]

Stunned silence, only broken by your hissing.

[[ I'm sorry, R'ita. Control over.]]

And there come the tears again, as she screams to nobody in particular.

"-I DON'T WANT TO DIE !!!"

Her attention comes back to you as you haven't moved but have been fixing her for the last two minutes or so, now.
She bursts a soft, mad laugh, back finally against a wall as she tries to stand.

"-Ahahah... Ahahahahah !!! At least I'm not *blablabla* dying alone, you piece of *blablabla*"

> What do you do ?
