Which 3rd party publishers are the tattered remnants of 3.5?

I seem to have a lot more success with using 3rd party publishing with my DM, when I can show him that X is made by Y person who used to be part of the original team.

BoEF was largely made by Gwendolyn F. M. Kestrel, who also had a big hand in Expedition to the Demonweb Pits (one of the most popular adventure books), MM3 (one of the most popular Monster Manuals), and at least six other official books.

That doesn't necessarily mean you want it in your game, but the sociological sections at least are nice.
