EDIT: Problem solved (probably).

So I'm making a character for this game over here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=15443399).

I rolled 5, 10, 11, 11, 6, 8. I decided to be an Anthropomorphic Bat Druid. Throwing on the racial adjustments and ability score switch, I end up with STR 1, DEX 10, CON 11, INT 6, WIS 17, CHA 6.

What gear should I have, when limited to two and a quarter pounds? I can carry a useless dagger, and my divine focus. What I need is armor, but...
What feat should I take (no flaws)? I was thinking about Wild Cohort or Hover...
Should I use the Shapeshifter Druid variant (PHb2)?
What should my Animal Companion be?

It might be worth noting that I have never before played a primary caster...

EDIT: Never mind most of that, I forgot that I had race limitations.
Now I'm heading towards Hengeyokai Psion. I might need somehelp choosing a discipline and powers, though...
New ability scores (hybrid form, animal form): Str 5 (5, 1), Dex 10 (12, 23), Con 8 (8, 10), Int 11, Wis 4, Cha 11

Your original rolls actually qualify for a reroll, by the rules. (Nothing over 13, total modifier is -6).

Special adventure.

We rolled 3d6, in order, and got to do one switch. Makes for interesting stats, to say the least.

Animal Companion should be a war trained riding dog (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/dogRiding.htm), which should be carrying anything that you won't be needing immediately (bedroll, rations, etc.). Do not use Shapeshift, it costs you your animal companion.

Consider switching your race to Jermaline in MM2, it's a tiny ratlike fey with no level adjustment, Str -8, Dex +6, Con -2, Int -2, Wis +6, Cha -6. You can just ride around on your war dog, cast Enrage Animal (SC) and then Ride check to use the mount to gain cover while you concentrate to maintain the spell.

Thanks!
I had though shapeshift only cost Wild Shape...
Riding dog sounds good.

Jermlaine... is cool, but I'd end up with a Con penalty, and paralysis from the lack of strenght. I wouldn't be able to move... :smallfrown:

It's always minimum 1 for any ability score after racial adjustments, or minimum 3 for Int.

You do know as a small character with a str of one you'll barely be able move and really isn't feasible.

Even with a starting 1 STR, he's going to be doing a lot better than his buddies if they got rolls like this. Especially once he gets to level 5 and can just go LOLWUTSTATS? and wildshape.

Except he has to survive that long...

But it doesn't matter too much anymore. See the first post.

That's much more doable.
