Well if anyone is familiar with the game, she is a female who hunts undead with a crossbow and she shoots it fairly past and she carries and even bigger one one in her back

any ideas in creating her in dnd 3.5 all books open for use.

Rogue with Crossbow Sniper and two levels of ranger for Favored Enemy: Undead and Rapid Shot as a bonus feat.

Also scout with Swift Hunter feat to overcome undeads immunities to precision damage.

I'd say she's a really by the books swifthunter scout/ranger. Take a knockback heavy crossbow, and then a hand or light crossbow that you use rapid reload with.

Second this ... if you really want to go by the basics take the hand crossbow and just built it the way vayne's look (sadly there is no selfloading mechanism ... well at least no one easily attained).

Heavy Crossbow and a feat/enchantment to simulate the knockback?

Maybe take sword of the arcane order (if that works out casterlevelwise ... you won't really get them soon) to pick up something like invis or flicker.

edit: the whole build is gonna be quite featstarved so taking human and asking for flaws is recommended. Also try to get a cleric dip for travel devotion (and possible knowledge devotion (designate knowledge (religion) or (planes) as the always class-skill)).

Something like 4 scout/1 cloistered cleric/15 ranger

Why take ranger so high? Scout will get bonus feats at 4 and 8 level and also increae movement speed. Invisibility can be obtained through factotum levels (also cunning insight will probably be good way to get some bonus damage) alternatively - Mystic Ranger ACF.
Hand Crossbow focus from Drow of the Underdark will let you reload hand crossbows as a free action.
Feat Rogue will be a good way to get additional feats if you will need them - also Swift Ambusher will let you stack rogue and scout levels to determine skirmish damage.
Strongarm bracers from MiC will let you use bigger heavy crosbow - but it's just for fluff reasons.

because base attack bonus is nice :smallwink:

Hmmm, point taken :-) It's actually shame that crossbows don't get much love in DnD and there isn't some kind of PrC made for crossbow users, so we pretty much are left with base classes.

Travel devotion will give you extra movement bonuses to simulate Tumble, her passive, and her ult; and a dip in cleric for Smite will give you the ability to do extra damage against Undead or use the charges for extra "Tumbles".

You could always refluff your bows to crossbows.

Hide in Plain Sight can help with the invisibility thing.

Edit: Oh, and for what it's worth, I agree with the Swift Hunter build. Dictum Mortuum's got a nice page on blogspot if you can google it.

Ahem well ... first of all Bab. Second of all Swift Hunter (and the Build is based on that). Sure you could take Swift Ambusher too but that is another feat you have to spend and tbh ... Sneak Attack wouldn't be that good on that character (Ranged who has to stay in 60ft says hello).

Knockback property from Complete Warrior will give you something similar to Condemn.

Also Ranged Pin feat from Complete Warrior if you want to pin em against a wall. Feats a little weak though imho.

If you're open to using homebrew, Vayne has been done (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=9752867&postcount=9). (Scroll down a bit.)

I wonder if there's a Knockback-equivalent feat for ranged attacks. Actually, you can do it in Pathfinder if you take the Fighter (archer archetype) for 11 levels. You can then use Bullrush on a ranged attack. Combine with Dungeoncrasher from 3.5 and you've got something neat.

On another note, can someone help me build Blitzcrank? I assume we will be starting with a Warforged base.
