Is there a model for spell progression for adepts and magewrights after 20th level? Not talking improved spell capacity, I mean these two classes actually learning 6th through 9th level spells. Also if there's a list that has 6th through 9th level spells for them? The idea I have is to stretch the spell progression form first through twentieth, to first to fortieth. Any ideas?

afaik, no class improves its spellcasting number of spells per day or spells known after 20th level.

Well a thought did occur to me of having spell progression slow down. Ie stretchh it over forty levels instead of twenty levels. I was using those npc progessions as models. Any thouughts on this?

The 3.5 epic rules halt spell progression, and use different rules for spells above a class's maximum spell level. A character has to take the Improved Spell Capacity feat (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/epic/feats.htm#improvedSpellCapacity) to get a spell slot above his maximum spell level, but with this feat it can only be used for metamagic spells. Then the character can take the Epic Spellcasting Feat (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/epic/feats.htm#epicSpellcasting) to actually develop and cast epic spells with epic spell slots.

In the case of an adept, which I believe has a maximum spell level of 5, the caster would have to start at 6th-level spells for epic spellcasting.
