Google. Start search with site:giantitp.com, then put in whatever you're looking for. Way more accurate than the old search engine we had anyway.

Nah. Just do a giantitp based google search for stuff you want to find. Also, this is probably more of a board site issues thing, than a 3.5 thing, so you should probably ask there for future reference. However, I'm pretty sure this has been asked and answered thereabouts.

There used to be a search, but it was taken down due to overloaded servers or the like.

I've taken to entering "d20 3.5 [whatever I want to look up]" in my favorite search engine (dogpile.com), and look for posts from these boards.
