Good Abilties bad Casting progression?

What prc's do you think could be saved and be made useable, if instead of having 5/10 or 3/10 casting progression had 9/10 progression?

Most? Anything that is pretty much full casting is better than any of the base caster classes except (maybe) druid. The only question is how good they are compared to one another and that depends alot on specific build ideas than anything else. Starting level, prerequisites, and a whole host of other things can change the analysis as well.

Hierophant should have been equivalent to Archmage. They could have been the same prestige class, but separate is fine if Hierophant was given more direct religious ability options.

Yeah, Heirophant could use some caster progression. I mean I know the reason it wasn't, was because it was trying to mimic how druids advanced past level 15 in 2nd edition. But bad legacy decisions are still bad decisions.

Lifedrinker could, heck, half it's abilities are Metamagic... and it offers no casting progression.

Dragon Disciple could use it, it requires spell casting, gives very lackluster benefits, and doesn't give any casting.

Thrall of Graz'zt could use it as well.

Not Casting but Manifesting ... the Metamind. Utterly useless except on an Ardent due to the weird way they get new power levels (and on Ardents it might get utterly broken due to the ability to deal infinite damage).
There is a "fix" in Hyperconscious with a 7/10 progression.

Arcane Archer - to qualify you need arcane casting, it's best ability relies on arcane casting but it for some reason does not advance arcane casting (in Pathfinder that was changed).

Also classes like Rage Mage - which were probably intended for various Gish builds but for some strange reason werent given good spell progression.
