World map builder? [Archive] - Giant in the Playground Forums

To keep it short, it's in the title: I want to make a world map for one of my DnD games and I made one, but my player considers it to be messy and hard to use and, to be completely honest, he's right. Now I'm looking for a better, higher quality world builder, preferably just on the internet. If it's downloadable it's good too, as long as it's free of course. Does any of you have any suggestions?

Well... if you're okay with Random generated maps, I might suggest Donjon's Random Fantasy World Mapper (http://donjon.bin.sh/fantasy/world/).... although atm, it appears to be down. Weekends are always a slag for donjon's server... it's located on an island south of the equator in a British protectorate.

To expand upon this, the site also has a whole bunch of other useful things. NPCs, villages, dungeons and a few other helpful things.
