For those that might not know, here are (http://youtu.be/inL9D2-3eAA) a couple (http://youtu.be/p35thkHoyCQ) of explanatory videos of the campaign setting.

That being said, as part of the One-Shot adventure I have planned (there are a few threads here and there), the player's characters will be transported to Eredane, in order to be able to fight Asmodeus (part of the plot), but they have to draw him into this plane.

Now, I know how they antagonists will very much react the characters (all high-level, since it's a one-shot game), but, there will be a time in between battles that they will have to interact with the PCs. How do you think they would react?.

In my opinion, I doubt most would even approach them, mostly out of fear for retribution, or because they might gain more if things remain as they are (in the case of influental npcs).

The setting can be, and is usually, explained by a single sentence: "Sauron has won!"

But isn't it a rather crucial part of the setting, that planar travel is impossible?

Yup, indeed it is. But I'm looking at the Epic Magic spellcasting stuff, and just do a tiny little exception, and just try to give the players a challenge when it comes to planar travel, and magic as well (the veil of Izrador).
