Say I buy a Scroll of Shrink item at max (20th in my case) CL.
Would the subsequent Scroll of Permanency have to be CL20 as well?

I ask because, the way I understand it, all of the spells used to create a magic item have to be the same CL and the result of these two spells would be a magic item; right?

Bonus: What's the largest boulder I can shrink with a Scroll of Shrink Item CL20? What size boulder is the result?

No, 11th, as that is the minimum CL to permanency shrink item.

No; it's not a magic item in the typical sense of being a wondrous item, ring, magic armor, or whatever, so it does not have a CL of its own, but it is magical and an object, which renders it an invalid target for certain spells. It's simply an object that has two spells active on it.

40 ft3, or about 3.4 feet square, or a sphere about 4.5 feet in diameter.

In creature sizes and/or actual dimensions?

What kind of damage are we looking at from something that size?

Is it possible to throw it then speak the command word without it immediately falling straight to the ground because of it's new mass?
