d20 enemies

Most other races I've picked for my d20 modern world have psionics or sla in their arsenal. What I'm asking is would the heroes of my world need psionics to fight them? Or is it fine as is?

Psionics isn't actually different from magic in any way, for the people who are targeted by it.

Psionics in d20 Modern doesn't get too powerful and the mundane advanced classes are intended to be more or less on par with FX abilities. That said, your players will lack specific defences and countermeasures (no Negate Psionics, for one). If you're using monsters from d20 Modern specific sources, it should be all right so long as you keep this in mind. If you're importing monsters from D&D, they're made with an assumption of a much higher level of magic so adjust appropriately.
