Dragon Ascendant

Hello...

A question comes to mind when reading about this very nice prestige class.

Would it be possible to shape change into a dragon and gain this prestige class? I’m thinking perhaps to "wish" yourself permanent shape changeable? Or something similar?

Or said in another way.. How can a human wizard gain this prestige class?

Honestly I got wrapped up thinking about approaching this from a Kobold route.

It's not as nice as it looks. First, it requires you to give up all your wealth. Second, the BAB 30 prerequisite places it firmly within epic levels, by which point you have a lot of better options available. Third, it only gives divine rank 0, but most of the really good divine abilities don't start until rank 1, and there's no straightforward way to go from 0 to 1: Mostly all you get is not dying of old age, and a bunch of hit points.
