A true tragedy, these brave men gave their lives to try and stop a fire from consuming a town. I just feel like I have to say something, more people should know about the brave sacrifice these men made.

Living in the southwest I can tell you that the potential for wildfires is staggering. We’re in a heat wave (news is projecting 113 degrees F by Wednesday) and the conditions are very dry. Heck I haven’t seen rain in five months (and i won't until late October... if that). Despite this, it’s very rare for fire fighters to suffer any fatalities. So just feel the need to mention this, these people died heroes and should have a heroes funeral.
