Getting into mindbender

I'm a master transmuter, banned evocation and enchantment. However, I'd really like to dip a level of mindbender. Any suggestions? I have 9 skill points and one open feat. Is UMD the way to go?

If you need enchantment spell with the school being banned..

There is a feat (found it on crystalkeep) that is from Dragon Mag.

I forget the name.... But it gives you three spells from a banned school.

You can take the Spell Reprieve feat in Lost Empires of Faerun, which lets you prepare and cast one spell from one of your prohibited schools.

Alternately, you can go into Mage of the Arcane Order and get it through your spellpool access, since you don't need to learn it.

Since you're a transmuter, you can use the Spell Versatility (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/specialistWizardVariants.htm#spellVersatility) variant to get access to Charm Person as a Transmutation spell at wizard level 5, if you're willing to go back to regular wizard levels.
