This is the campaign setting that we have been working on for a few months now. We are working hard on getting a map of Valistros together and as soon as we have it I will post it.

INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the Torn Realms, a Pathfinder Campaign Setting set in the torn world of Erthos. Encompassing magical mysteries, wondrous "technologies", and a landscape rife with the possibilities of adventure, the Torn Realms is a campaign setting that welcomes the adventurers set on facing peril, finding glory, or seeking after vast treasures.

The main landscape of adventure in the Torn Realms campaign setting is Valistros, a continent of wondrous beauty and ageless perils. It is a landscape waiting to be explored, shaped, and guided by those who dare to attempt such things.

Valistros is a land trod by the noble of heroes and the evilest of villains alike. Whether you'll join the company of the first or die at the hands of the later, you and your fellow adventurers will discover these things in the stories you weave for yourselves.

THE LAND OF VALISTROS
From the bitter, snow covered lands of the Everwinter in the north to the harsh wasted terrain of the Burning Lands in the south, the continent of Valistros is a wide and wild land, with a myriad of tiny kingdoms who struggle to fight off an empire who wishes to conquer them, and a primal wilderness waiting to be explored by intrepid adventurers. Valistros is also but one of several continents of the world. Other landmasses lie in the distant corners of the world, but Valistros is the greatest of them all. Many nations, city-states, and barbarian tribes struggle to claim the landscape for themselves. Thousands of villages, towns, ruins and settlements dot Valistros's expanse.

The continent of Valistros measures more than four thousand miles from east to west, and measures more than that from north to south. It includes sun scorched wastelands, vast forests, looming mountains, and ancient ruins. Across this vast expanse travelers of every sort travel from city to city, whether by foot or cart or even by the wondrous means of skyships or magical transport. Some seeking fortune or fame, while others search for a new tale to be told or an ancient one to be unraveled. Whatever their reason many would-be heroes find themselves drawn to faraway places.

The continent is divided into five major geographical regions: The Northwest, the Northeast, the West, the East, and The South.

THE NORTHWEST
A region of wilderness, difficult winter weather, and barbarian tribes. This region is often referred to as "The Great North". It is a mostly untamed region that lies beyond the bounds of the Holy Empire. This area was, before the Reckoning, a part of the Norvothan Realm of Novannor, many ruins dot the landscape from this period of the regions history. This area contains:

The Deep Wood - A forest which is guarded by a tribe of dark elves.

Wintermourne - An ancient city from before the tearing of the world, Wintermourne sits on the edge of the Everwinter.

The Frostfangs - A extensive mountain range in the eastern portion of the region, known for the Fenrith tribes that live there.

The Everwinter - Though technically not part of this region, the ice flows of the Everwinter are adjacent to the Great North. This area is known for its harsh climate, and tough barbarian tribes.

The Frostbound Coast - A frigid coastline known for its barbarian raiders, winter storms, and Wintermourne.

The Blackfrost Range - A range of mountains in the south west of the region, controlled by the dwarves of Stormhold.

Stormhold - An ancient hold of the Dwarves in the Blackfrost Range. Controlled by Clan Stormforge.

The Sky-City of Frostwind - A floating city that hovers over the frostbound coast.

THE NORTHEAST

This region stretches from the Gap of Rolanth to the emerald shores of the Mist Sea, in the northern region of the continent. It is bordered on the north by the bay of the fallen star, and in the east by the Mist Sea. It is bordered in the west by the Gap of Rolanth. Its southern border is the Sevarr River. Most of the region is controlled by the Holy Empire. This region contains:

The Fist - A small moutain range that follows along the Emerald Coast, known for the Hammer Holds.
The Hammer Holds - A series of dwarven holds in the Fist. Home to seven ancient clans of the dwarves, most notably Clan Steelhammer.
The Emerald Coast - The coastline of the Mist Sea is filled with rolling grassy slopes, and farmlands. The largest settlement on the coast is the Grand City of Tolantis.
The Grand City of Tolantis - A metropolis on the edge of the Holy Empire's northern most point. Once a city of the High Elves, Tolantis is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
The Sky Citadel of Tempest - A floating fortress that hovers near the Grand City of Tolantis.

THE WEST
This region, known as "the Western Reaches" is a land of contrasts. Bordered on the east by the Dragon's Teeth, and in the south by the Great Grass Sea, the region is bordered on the north by the blackfrost range, and the Kingdom of Rolanth, and on the west by the Palanati Ocean. This region contains:

The Imperial City - The capital of the Holy Empire of Tyveron, ruled over by the Church of the Sacred Flame, and its Holy Emperor, Justicarion VII
The Gap of Rolanth - A gap between the Dragon's Teeth and the Frostfangs in which the province of Rolanth exists.
The Swordshard Coast - A notorious expanse of coast on the western edge of Valistros, known for the Brotherhood of the Swordshard Coast, a band of corsairs who show little mercy.
The Runespire Range. - A small range of mountains.

THE EAST
This region is under construction

THE SOUTH
