The mutt limps inside as Godric shrugs.

Markan grins sheepishly at the mutt. "Hehe...sorry officer. Was a little inebriated last night it seems. Anything I can do for that limp? Oh wait, antimagic..." he says, possibly sarcastically.

I could just give it to you, if it makes it easier." He disattaches the case from his belt, and tosses it onto the front desk.

Sorry I don't know how. Even if I did you haven't given me much reason to trust you. He flops down on the floor by the cell.

"Allow me to rephrase. I am not in the mood to be in here for the next 48 hours. I am willing to do anything necessary to assure you that my word is my life and that I am trying to help if it will get me out of here faster. Please. Besides the fact that you're hurt, it's my own fault, and now I feel bad."

Hm, ok how about this, I let you out and you heal me. If you do that I'll drop the charges for assualting me. You still have the other charges to deal with, if the guy with the ax presses the charges. But we can let you out on bail. Godric how does bail work?

Markan, once releases, immediately goes and grabs his scrollcase. He begins casting, starting with cure critical wounds and moving up to heal and then regeneration if the first two don't work.

Godric examines the bar. Yes, indeed. In fact, it's more than enough. If you'd care to wait, and can get you your change.

Why, one time I almost had by head bashed out by a sultan for accidentally inslulting his honor..." Markan says, leaving the police station, still talking about the sultan though no one is probably listening.

The mutt gets Godric to take off his collar with the badge on it. I'm still on duty just going undercover. If Iames needs me I'll be hanging out by his temple but tell him not to blow my cover, I'll be acting like a non-talking dog. He heads out the door and towards Iames's Temple.

A bright red pseudodragon glides into the Station and land on Godric's desk. Excuse me. I'm looking for a Calpurnia. She resembles a dappled grey centaur and has two swords with her at all times. Have you seen her?

Yes, I have. She seemed very worried about something, but she wouldn't say what. I have no idea where she went after she left, though.

Mitilla growls to herself. Thank you anyway. She flaps out.

The man, who some might say was just at trog's(they're insane) wakes up in his cell. What? hey! let me out!

Oh, you were attacking one of our officers in lizard form last night. You'll be out in... Godric checks his records.

Attacking? Lizard? What are you talking about?!! I was in that fox temple last night! Let me out! The man becomes more unreasonably angry and his eyes take on a slight reddish tint. He pounds on the bars of his cell.

6 hours and 13 minutes. And I'm sorry, sir, but two of our officers observed a lizard attacking patrons in Trog's Tavern last night. Once the lizard was beaten into unconsciousness, it transformed into you.

[Jacklu]

The man smashes against the bars. His body starts to shift, growing larger and more muscular. He steps back from the bars and growls. LET ME OUT! Thick brown fur starts to grow all over his body.

Calm down, sir. If you pay me 700gp, you can go free right this minute.

[Jacklu]

The man continues to shift until he has turned into a very large werewolf. He snarls and tries and tries to pull the cell door down.

The cell door remains sturdily attached to the rest of the cell.

[Jacklu]

The werewolf struggles against the bar for a while before retreating further into the cell and watching Godric with hungry, hateful eyes.

Iames appears with a damaged ESARS and puts him in the infirmary.

Godric, the charge is gross destruction of private property. So, like desecration, only more so.

A gate opens up, and Verdandi steps through.

The android secretly pieces itself back together in the infirmary. Once sufficiently repaired, it activates its jet pack, and attempts to smash through the ceiling, and escape the station. If it can get this far, it will soar far off into the clouds.

It does.

Several parts of whatever the ceiling and roof is made of falls into the infirmary. A dark singed circle is left where ESARS activated his jet pack. Also, he left behind a hologram device playing. Apparently he went through his recent memory, and found a human he had ignored earlier. One wielding a missile launcher.

The werewolf watches as Verdandi enters. He remains at the back of his cell growling faintly.

Well, who did you learn from? Aerin comes through the gate just in time to hear the roar and crash of ESARS breaking through the ceiling. What was that?

The norns. Verdandi draws her sword and goes to the infirmary.

Aerin follows her, drawing her sword.

The werewolf moves to the front of his cage and observes Aerin and Verdandi.

Iames steps through the gate, and follows Aerin and Vera as the gate closes behind him. Then, he disappears.

Verdandi looks at the hole in the ceiling and sighs.

[Jacklu]

The werewolf roars and begins attacking the cell door again.

Aerin sees the hole in the ceiling and sighs also, then turns to the werewolf attacking the cell door. Hey, you. Stop that.

[Jacklu]

The werewolf snarls at Aerin. It steps back and glares at her.

Verdandi returns to the main room and looks over a few case files.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin glares back.

[Kenyon]

The door creaks open, and the Four Sarundians step in. They look around for a moment, before Rex steps forward to the counter.

"'Scuse me, I'm lookin' for some help, here."

Since pretty much everyone here has met Kenyon, the accent should be easy to recognize.

Verdandi smiles at them. What do you need?

Rex nods at Verdandi politely. "Howdy, ma'am. We're new in town, and were wonderin' if we could get some police assistance."

Phil eyes Verdandi, and seems about to speak, when Silver angrily clubs him in the back of the head. He winces, and rubs his head. "I wasn't gonna say nothin'..."

Noting that the werewolf seems cowed into submission at least temporarily, Aerin turns and goes to the front area to investigate the voices she hears.

Game flies throough the permanent portal and lands on Aerin's shoulder.

Verdandi gives Silver a look. Do not manhandle your comrades unless you want me to arrest you. I can and will confine you to a cell if you do it again. Now what do you need police help with? She smiles at Game and pets him.

[Kenyon]

Phil sticks his tongue out at Silver, who looks slightly embarrassed.

"Trust me, ma'am, you don't wanna hear anything that clown has t'say. It was for the best. Now, I'm curious..."

Rex pulls out a worn-out piece of paper, with a rough drawing of a tall, lanky, evil-looking man on it. Underneath the picture is the name "Kenyon Trammel".

"Have y'all met this man?"

Verdandi gives an amused smile. You need a better rendition of him, but yes, I have met him.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Game emits a happy Chirrr. Aerin looks at the four men, then at the drawing, and nods. Yes, I have, as well.

[Kenyon]

Rex shrugs. "I didn't draw it myself. I just work with what I've been given."

He glances back to the others. "He's here." The others nod.

He looks back to Verdandi. "Well, ma'am, we're here 'cause we like to have assistance of local authorities when we do somethin' like this, especially with someone this dangerous."

"Y'see, we're bounty hunters from Sarundia, same country as Mister Trammel, here. He's wanted back home for dereliction of duty, several counts of assault, murder, and attempted murder. Quite honestly, he's one of the most dangerous men in these lands today."

"We've been followin' him for some time, and our sources tell us that he's settled down here, apparently ownin' a shop of all things. I s'pose he thought he escaped from us."

He leans in close to Verdandi. "I'd like your assistance to prove this sick bastard wrong."

[Lord Iames Osari]

And what gives you the idea that you have any jurisdiction here? Aerin detects evil.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi raises an eyebrow. I am sorry, but we only deal with things that occur within our jurisdiction. Also, even if Kenyon committed the deeds you mentioned, I do not believe that he is the type of man who would do such things. Either he changed or had reason.

Aerin's detect evil comes up clean on all counts.

Rex looks deadly serious. "Ma'am, this is a very dangerous criminal we're speakin' about, here. We've been followin' his trail ever since he left Sarundia. Every stop has noted mysterious deaths occuring during the time Kenyon was in their town. If he hasn't killed here, it's because he hasn't found the right time, yet."

"So, I beg you, please assist us, before he kills again."

[Jacklu]

After a while the werewolf howls loudly. It falls back against the cell door and thrashes. Slowly its body starts to shrink. Its fur slowly recedes and the creature transforms back into a man. The man collapses and passes out.

Then why don't we pay Mr. Trammel a visit in his shop, all of us together? Senior Officer, what do you think?

Verdandi nods. This sounds acceptable. I do not wish to see any of you draw arms without due cause while we are there.

[Kenyon]

Rex nods, and looks to the others. "Y'hear that, boys? No jumpin' the gun, alright? We don't need an international incident 'cause one of you knuckleheads got an itchy trigger finger!"

"Not a problem, Rex."

"Guns're holstered!"

"Gotcha, boss."

Verdandi nods and pulls out her own gun from her desk and spins it into her belt as she stands. Lets go. She walks out the door.

[Kenyon]

The Four Sarundians follow Verdandi outside.

Aerin follows them, contemplating using some healing spells on them.

Iames enters the station and goes into the infirmary. His eyes flash, and he repairs the damage. Then he sits down on a bed and starts to think.

Narfang completes his report on the information-gathering assignment he's been given and files it away.

The mutt leads Nukular into the station and to the front desk. This man is has been charged with destruction of property he is going to pay bail of 600 gp.

The mutt gets filled up with everything that has been going on and groans as he hears about Kenyon. He makes a report about Kenyon being at Inari's and heads back there.

A random NPC rushes into the station and informs Godric that some weird guy just appeared in the tavern and turned all the unnamed occupants into trout. Luckily, this particular NPC's name was Fred, and so he was unnaffected.

I'd like to put out a notice. Ares, the god of war, he's not himself. He just attacked me. Oh, and I don't care what the chief, whoever it is nowadays says. This one's mine.

Godric starts to argue, but Mik growls at him and walks out.

Gemini kicks the door open, and yells, "Who owns and or runs this place!?!?" Gemini walks in. He then stretches. "Ah, I just had to do that. Now, down to business. Who runs the police station? I must talk to them about serious business."

That would be Detective Iames. He's not in right now. Godric is doing some paperwork, and doesn't look up.

I was going to keep an eye on Iames temple, and Arha in hopes that the guy who I think has been murdering people shows up there again. And did you see that Kenyon is alive and in Ravenloft as of last night.

Kenyon was hiding in Trog's from a bounty hunter who was chasing him and causing lots of damage, which he has agreed to fix. He went through a portal there.

Then take a patrol, looking for this murderer and this polymorph mad wizard. I will deal with things here and then go to Trog's and investigate the other disturbances.

Well just to update you on the killer. I think he is a wizard named Vahlziir. He has some sort of connection to Arha and has been in contact with her at some point. They know of the danger. He apparently uses charms on his victims. So I will stick around the streets by the temple. And I will keep an eye out for fishy wizards.

The man and women enter the station, the man is carrying Vera's sword. Their hands flashing. Maybe we should find a room for the night. They smile at each other as they start to look around.

Officer, I think there might be reason to believe Destro. Apparently The Nine once destroyed the indestructible Trog's Tavern. The police station isn't made like that, as far as I've heard.

Verdandi raises an eyebrow. Since I have been here, Trog's has been deconstructed once, but that was by an insane kender. Verdandi looks at the two and smiles at them. Oh thank you, I was going to retrieve that.

As she leaves, Secret Agent Stick Omega arrives. He aks Gudric about what happened, gets his info, then leaves in search of some excitement.

An android and a being in a large black cloak enter the station. The android points at the imprisoned Destro, and the cloaked one walks over to the wizard.
Who are you? Why do you register positive for being in the vicinity of the blue caped one known as Secret Agent Stick Omega?

Who are you? Are you with them? They're everywhere. I can see them now. Get away! Destro backs across the floor towards one of the corners.

The cloaked one thinks about what Destro says, then lies: I personally know THEM, and will tell them you're here if you do not tell me about the blue shades wearing agent with a blue cape. Understand?

No! Don't tell them. They'll find me. They can't find me... Destro laughs madly. Blue shades, yes. Blue cloak, yes. He was there. They found him. He's gone now, gone somewhere else. He left.

The android shows the cloaked one a watch, then the cloaked one says:

The android opens fire with its E-Razor handguns.

Good. Get them away! Destro stumbles out the cell door and down the hall. If he's the one getting shot at he gets hit a couple times, but it doesn't seem to affect him much.

[Kenyon]

"Vinnie, you take Shorty, there! Silver, you'n I're takin' the caster!"

"Gotcha!"

"Right, boss."

Vinnie pulls out a pair of daggers, and lunges at the Kender. Rex and Silver, who has already pulled out his massive chainaxe, charge after Destro, ducking under the pistol fire.

[Lord Magtok]

((The android fires one gun at the kender, the other at Destro. It's a master at multi-tasking!))

((We all came from the door. Therefore, we block the exit!))

[The Nine]

Where is he? Evocation rounds the door to the cell block and sees Destro dissappearing down the corridor. There! He takes off running down the hall, followed closely by Omni. Abjuration comes in through the door.

the kender, unable to cast its normal arsenal of defensive divine spells, does the only thing it can do

it leaps right for the pointed gun, and takes most of the bullets in the towel it just drew. the towel shimmers with mithril threads woven into it.

a bullet managet to shoot through the towel, and hit the kender in the side. standing there, bleeding, it flicks off the enemies. the knife wielder slices off the offending finger.

this is my penance.... bring it.

With the wizard gone, the android focuses both guns at the kender.
