View Full Version : Pixe rouge builds?

So my group is starting a new heroic tier and i wannted to try out a new character and I've sort of got it mapped out I just wanna make sure its going the right direction. going with MHB2 shadowy rouge with STR 8, CON 10, DEX 18, INT 16, WIS 11, CHA 15. AC 16, FORT 10, REF 16, WIL 12 and a Initiative of 4 at level 1 also I chose the agent of unsellie for the conjured weapon encounter.

Having that high of int will do you little good as a rogue, unless you have something very specific in mind.

for 30% of possible attacks for that build it allows adds INT mod to move damage. But there are powers where I don't nessicarily need them so should lower INT and spread the points across DEX and CHA?

Since Dex and Int both funnel into the same defenses, they are kinda redundant. The powers do benefit from Int, but there are plenty of powers that are pure Dex, or have Cha or Str riders that would be a much stronger build, mechanically.

Also, those stats seem pretty high. Are they rolled, with racials added in?

A racial +2 bonus to DEX and CHA, and it's the 22 point system.

Well, I'm a bit confused as to why you would go Pixie rouge. Pixies are so small that it will be exceedingly difficult for anyone to really see their cheekbones. I understand wanting a +cha race, as the rouge can further accentuate their beauty, but man - they are tiny. It's just so hard to properly see their facial features no matter how much rouge you apply.

As for Pixie rogues, absolutely consider starting with Dex 20. It boosts your AC, Reflex, hit, damage, and best skills. There's little downside to starting with Dex 20.

And the Cha boost gives you good stats for an Artful Dodger even after purchasing a pre-racial 18 Dex.
