This is the source for discussions about magneto in a d20 setting. God help us all.

Probably Sorceror.
Essential Spells: Repulsion, Telekinesis, Mage Hand, Levitate, Fly(replacing Levitate later on), that Magnetic Attaction spell whose name I cannot remember. Maybe even Charm Person/Monster, because he is definitely more charming than would seem humanly possible. :P

Most definitely later on, Master of the Unseen Hand.

I think his helmet must have a Third Eye of Conceal (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/items/universalItems.htm#conceal) embedded in it.
Blade Barrier, Floating Disc, and Wall of Iron seem like reasonable spells for him to have, as would Major Creation (for the Metal items). Repel Metal also looks intuitive, but that's a high-level Druid spell.

I'd peg him as an Arcane Trickster, but some of the Psionics stuff might give a better representation of him.

Not feasible.

Simply because he has done things that...

Look, this is the guy that has been more than willing and able to twist the magnetic poles of the planet, and can mess with the iron in one's bloodstream. I don't think there are any feats or spells that correspond with that.

As far as I can tell, mutant powers are a form of psionics. So Magneto would be a telekinetelythingmabob.

No, not feats or spells. But Blood Magus has a class ability that looks an awful lot like the blood messing with stuff. It just does damage though, not letting you lift them up by the iron in it. Still.

I'd say psionics, kineticist sounds good. Short of that some sort of magnetic based prestige class. However, in Mutants and Masterminds this sort of thing becomes much simpler to put together, seeing how it's the same genre.

I say it whenever I see one of these threads it seems. So I'll say it again, Wrong system. Magneto never has a 5% chance of failure, ever.

Yeah, I just don't think the mechanics are in place to create Magneto. I don't really know a lot about psionics, but even then it's mind powers and not magnetic manipulation. You could create all the similar effects of his powers, but it wouldn't really fit the flavor.

He's a deity with the "metal" portfolio.
