Focusing in the transmutation school, the class is originaly from here: http://gavetaincerta.blogspot.com.br/2012/10/prestige-class-shape-transmuter.html

I expect it to be a powerful but balanced class. Something equal in power with the other specialists such as wizard/master specialist (abjuration)/initiate of the sevenfold veil or wizard/master specialist (ilusion)/shadowcraft mage.

Prestige Class: Sculptor of the Flesh

Arcanists that have a genuine fascination for body transformation through magic, this is the most simple definition for the Sculptor of the Flesh. Experts in the transmutation school tend to be the main followers of this prestige class, since the path requires a dedicated and methodical study on the anatomy of several creatures and how the magic is able to simulate their skills and body. Although uncommon, is possible that sorcerers able to take the form of powerful creatures share this attraction and join this course of specialization. Regardless of origin, all Sculptors of the Flesh have in common a fascination with the art of body reconstruction, a procedure that often able to cause repulse even in other arcane masters.

To create an imaginary form, he chooses one of his favored shapes as a base form. He can then choose a single aspect of a second monster whose form he could assume using the spell he is casting and add it to the first creature. His available options include the following
Replace the base form’s natural armor bonus with that of the second form.

Add the second form’s movement modes.
Add one of the second form’s natural attack types (with the appropriate reach), if the base form doesn’t have that attack type already.
Add an extraordinary special attack of the second form.
Add an extraordinary special quality of the second form.
Replace one of the base form’s physical ability scores, if both the base form and the second form are the same size category.

Graft flesh: as the feat.

So... what do you guys think?:smallconfused:

So... what you guys think?:smallconfused:

I would say make them lose a school as this is a choice for more direct battle. Also that first feat plus a snake familiar and polymorph ability is the foundation of Pun-Pun(which is a build that can permanently do what the capstone does).

banning a school makes a lot of sense, although that limit the PrC for wizards. I'll think about it. Thanks:smallwink:

As for pun-pun, I see more as a problem with the talent than with the class. Theres not much I can do in the design. It's a trick for the DM to handle.

Thanks for the comment, I will make changes soon.

I know the feat and Serpent Kingdoms are the problems. I just thought it should be mentioned. The fact is though this class more of a fixed Master Transmogrifist, which is fine but a couple other PrC's already do some similar things. In general a person who would choose this would want ways to be a little more suitable for direct combat. So I would first start with an up in hit die. Also while graft flesh is thematic it may very well not get good use because of the polymorph spells.
As for banning a school I wouldn't worry about a wizard, remember they can choose whether they want to be a specialist or not. Also as many have said a wizard is still incredibly capable with just the transmutation and conjuration schools.

Small typo on the table : Unique change is noted as Improved metamorphic magic IV, by it is clearly Improved metamorphic magic V.

On an unrelated note, I don't think giving a bonus feat at the first level of a PrC with full spellcasting progression is a good idea. It promotes one-level dips. I think it is more appropriate at 3rd level.

Thanks, man, corrected the typo.

I will just remove this assume supernatural ability. It's 3.0 and easily a game breaker. The class is strong enough without him.

Rearranged the feats distribution.
