Hello, the forum!
I was building some 3.P cataphracts, and I half-remembered a feat that allows you to use a longspear (specifically) and a buckler and retain the ac bonus of the buckler. I'm sure it wasn't Improved Buckler Defence, and I don't think that does that anyway. Any ideas? Could it have been third-party?

Cheers!

Hmm i think it was home brew.. There is also the feat shield and pike style, its from a dragon magazine and it allows you to hold a two handed spear in one hand and a shield in the other. Maybe that's what you were thinking? Also here is a thread where someone asked what all the spear related feats were so look at this if its not there i would suspect homebrew.

You are almost certainly thinking of the Shield and Pike feat Dev posted; there is not one specifically for bucklers+polearms (I know this as fact), but S&P is better anyway.

is AC that critical to be worth the feat?

Aye, I'm sure it was Shield & Pike now, thanks guys!
@CyberDrag it's not really worth it, but I was trying to recreate a diorama.
@Devronq Thanks for the link, I'll give it a read!
