I'm making a Sorcerer for a campaign, and quickly realized their skill list is abysmal(the PrC I entered, Frost Mage, just adds Search and all Knowledge skills).

Kind of having more skill points than I really know what to do with, I started wondering if Craft(Alchemy) was worth it. I've never used any crafting skills before though, so I don't know a lot about it.

Is it worth getting into? Is there a good list of things I can make(and ones that are actually useful)?

You can use it to craft alchemical (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=12873997#post12873997)items and poisons (http://www.brilliantgameologists.com/boards/?topic=4854.0).

Basically at low levels Alchemy and Poisons are expensive but useful, while at higher levels they become cheap but less powerful. Tanglefoot Bags (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/equipment/goodsAndServices.htm#tanglefootBag) remain good for as long as you are still fighting large and smaller creatures though, since as an attack action an individual can throw a bunch of them each turn.

Yes, Craft (alchemy) is worth it. Here (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19871634/Alchemical_Devices:_Optimized_Selections_and_Craft ing_Strategies) is a thread with more info about alchemy. It also has a pretty much comprehensive list of alchemical items.
