Trying to understand how this works as I have heard both sides of the coin. A level 1 rogue with TWF using dual daggers makes a sneak attack. How much dmg does he do? I have heard he does 2d4 +1d6 (2d4 from daggers and 1d6 from sneak attack). I have also heard he does 2d4+2d6 (2d4 from daggers and 1d6 of sneak atack for each dagger since they are seperate attack rolls and sneak attack says it works for every attack they are denied their dex) please help me clarify. And if you could provide links or page ref to rules that explain this that would be great.

Separate attack rolls = separate sneak attack bonuses. Each attack will do 1d4 base weapon damage plus 1d6 sneak attack damage.

You get sneak attacks for all attacks that qualify.

From the SRD: If a rogue can catch an opponent when he is unable to defend himself effectively from her attack, she can strike a vital spot for extra damage.

The rogue’s attack deals extra damage any time her target would be denied a Dexterity bonus to AC (whether the target actually has a Dexterity bonus or not), or when the rogue flanks her target.

Each attack that qualifies for a sneak attack does sneak attack damage. That's one of the reasons that high level rogues focused on melee often use two weapons.

It depends on how they are triggering the sneak attack damage, unless I am mistaken.

For example, if said Rogue is flanking a sneak attack target and hits with both attacks, the damage is 2d4 + 2d6.

If the rogue pops out of being invisible and attacks with both, I think the damage may be 1d6 + 2d4, because it only applies to the first attack...but I may be mistaken.

"The rogue's attack deals extra damage..." is not saying that it happens once per round; each attack deals the extra damage.

Long time ago I misspelled plaguebearer as plaugebearer for my warlocks name and ever since it has been my gamer tag.

It's already been said, but yes. A target who has yet to act is flat-footed, and will remain so even once attacked. A target who has an opponent on each side of him is flanked, and will also remain so even once attacked. A helpless opponent is denied his DEX to AC, and remains denied it even once attacked. The same applies to additional attacks caused by a high base attack bonus, a multiclassing monk's Flurry of Blows or the silly ninja trick which allows you to throw a ton of shruiken at things.
