[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye steps into the hells. He looks around the place he remembers only in his demon's memories.

[Lykan]

Lykan leaps in afterwards

Oh... This place is lovely.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles at Lykan "Nice place isn't it? Not the sort of location to take a holiday though"

[Lykan]

Lykan sighs

I prefer Archeron out of the lower planes myself...

[Wukei]

Wukei materializes from black raindroplets and her eyes stop glowing. Now to find the library, I suppose...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye grimaces "The hells are no place for a demon to be for a while..." he nods at Wukei "You know the way best"

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus looks around amazed, So I guess this is the depths of hell, my sisiter always told me to come here.

[Wukei]

This is the deepest you can go...watch for demons now... She turns and glides away, a cloaklike substance made out of what seems to be smoke billowing behind her as she moves.

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus follows behind her, keeping a safe distance from the smoke.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye follows after her at a much faster pace than he usually walks, glancing to the sides occasionally

[Wukei]

Wukei leads the way, glancing to the side only once where she notices a demon. She sends a fireball at him as a warning and he ducks out of the way, but doesn't advance on the group. The group comes up over the hill and approaches a building that seems like part of it was crafted from stone, some from flesh...and the mortar might even be blood.

[Lykan]

Lykan sighs

Wierd culture here...

His skin and eye take on a metalic quality

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus looks around at the mortar, Well that's perfectly charming. Is this the place?

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye shrugs at Lykan "Devil's are a weird bunch, very artistic in their own way."

[Wukei]

Of course it is...do you think I don't know the way to my own library? She takes out a cigarette and lights up before pushing forward into the library. It seems eerily quiet inside. Like someone's died right in front of a large group just at that moment. Wu makes her way toward the index station to try to find information.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye takes a deep breath and follows into the library

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus takes Wukei's idea and lights up another cigarette before following Hawkeye in.

[Wukei]

Wukei hands each of them an index card and points them in the direction of where the book would be located. Split up...it'll be easier this way.

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus nods and heads off with the index card in hand.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye nods and follows the direction on the card "Lib would have a great time trying to index this" he stops, takes three deep breaths. He shakes his head and carries on to the books

[Wukei]

Wukei wanders off in the direction of a book as well and finds it. She opens the book, ignoring the skin cover and runs a finger along the blood-written pages as she tries to find information.

[Lykan]

Lykan looks around in amazement

Well... Are there librarians here or something? Just to point us in the right direction?

He looks over at Wukei

Find anything?

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus checks on his 7th book after realizing that others were worthless, and sees something that catches his eye. Afterwards, he runs back to where Wukei was.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye finds a book and begins reading through it

[Wukei]

Wukei can't seem to fix her gaze on the words of the book. It's as though suddenly she can't read. Her eyes go blank and she stands and moves back toward the lobby of the library, cutting a devil in half that happened to be on her way back as she goes.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye grimaces at what he's found and heads back to the central area, glancing to either side and expecting to be ambushed

[Wukei]

Wukei points her sword up at Angelus' throat.

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus tenses his body so not to get stabbed, Wukei...Its Angelus, I found something that may help you.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye stops dead in his tracks "Wu?"

[Wukei]

Wukei looks to Hawkeye with red eyes, Merant, you fool...why do you let these people keep you pushed down. You could be a god. All you have to do is help me.

[Lykan]

A battlecry from Lykan can be heard in the other room, followed by a slattering sound

Whoops.

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus hears Hawkeyes voice and yells, the gem will be deactivated once their host is dead or has lost so much blood that the gem can no longer feel the blood coursing through.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye steps back, his mouth opens and shuts and his eyes go a slight red "...no, I'm not letting him out..."

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles wickedly and slaps Angelus away with the flat of the blade. The truth is, Hawkeye...you're weak. Demons become gods because they're strong. And Merant is strong. He can't be subdued by you.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye's eyes go back to their blue...and suddenly go to a burning red. He grins and cracks his knuckles "Now, what would you have me do Loki?"

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus aims for Wukei's throat and fires with his crossbow.

[Wukei]

Wukei chokes as the crossbolt goes through and falls to her knees.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye grimaces, then flies at Angelus aiming a punch at him

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus willing takes the punch to the face, Are you out of it? Good, then help me, help her. She'll be fine so long as we don't pull the arrow out with out healing her first.

[Wukei]

Wukei tries to speak through the crossbolt. Use...psionic...white... She coughs and clings at the wound.

[Lykan]

Lykan looks around the corner

What the hell!?

He rushes over and uses Mend Wounds on Wukei

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye glances down at Wukei, he grimaces again and tries to heal her. He looks up and points at Angelus "Lykan! He shot Wukei without reason"

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus yells, Wait, if Wukei is close to death, it will get rid of the bloodgem.

[Wukei]

Wukei sits up after being healed by Hawkeye. She then glares at Angelus.

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus then recites what he read from the book, the gem will be deactivated once their host is dead or has lost so much blood that the gem can no longer feel the blood coursing through. I couldn't make that stuff up. Besides, Hawkeye is someone else right now named Merant.

[Lykan]

Lykan's eyes flash white, trying to sense how powerful Hawkeye's and Wukei's auras are before summoning his soulblade and rushing at Angelus

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye helps Wu up, if she lets him. He watches Lykan whatever.

[Wukei]

Wukei takes Hawkeye's hand and sneers at Angelus as Lykan rushes him.

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus puts his crossbow up and gets ready to defend himself. Wukei put a blade to my neck and started saying how Hawkeye was too weak to control Merant. Plus she sounded more like a guy.

[Lykan]

Lykan stops suddenly in the middle of the two-

Damn short distance powers...

- casting Decerebrate on Wu and Angelus

[Hawkeye]

"You're just making that up to save your own pathetic life you traitor!"

[Wukei]

Wukei drops to the floor as her brain suddenly goes missing.

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus falls to his knees with a blank look on his face and drooling.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye looks at horror at Wukei "What the shock did you do!" he sends a ball of ice energy at Lykan

[Lykan]

Lykan gets smacked and stumbles back

Calm down!

He sits up and pokes at his face, which oozes blood

Damn you moron... Look, we need to get out of here. Grab Wukei.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye glares at Lykan, and picks Wukei up holding her tight "We shall have words when we get back wolf"

[Lykan]

Lykan rolls his eyes

Fine, Whatever.

He grabs Angelus and the book he was reading and walks over to Hawkeye

Ready?

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye looks down at Wukei, then back up at Lykan "Yeah, whatever"

[Lykan]

Lykan and the three others fade out

[Lykan]

Lykan, Wukei, and Mhina appear in hell, in the location Wukei designated earlier. Lykan summons his katanas, scanning for deific auras

[Wukei]

Wukei draws her two longswords and they seem to shine like daylight in the dark plane.

Mhina looks around, producing two ice daggers. They shine as well, with a blue light.

[Hawkeye]

This plane is very weird. The ground is illuminated from the floor meaning the shadows are very strange, instead of spreading on the floor they go up to the sky like columns of darkness.

In the distance you can see a battle raging, but it looks like it's quite near the end as the bodies on the floor are vastly greater then the bodies up and fighting. Merant is standing in the centre armed with a firey sword and whip, manically laughing as he cuts to and fro.

[Lykan]

Lykan sighs

Well, he went really creative with the weaponry, huh?

Lykan advance toward him, still with the slightly annoyed look

[Wukei]

Wukei speeds off toward the battle. She keeps one sword raised defensively, readying the other one for attack.

Mhina looks to Lykan for what to do and follows.

[Hawkeye]

Merant sees Wukei approaching and he grins. He cleaves the rest of the demon's/devil's and turns to face her, bodies littered all around him. He raises his hand and cast's something "No brain tricks for you now wolfie"

[Lykan]

Lykan looks to Mhina

Take the left, I'm goin right. Begins nailing him with ice spikes... I'll try to pull out a few new things that I've wanted to try. Don't stop moving... It will help you...

He takes another step and adds

I love you...

He charges of to the right, his hands glowing with energy

[Wukei]

Mhina smiles and says, I love you, too, before charging in the direction indicated and throwing her ice daggers at Merant.

Wukei charges in straight and stands to face the demon god. Are you just going to stand there all day or are you going to fight me?

[Hawkeye]

Merant dodges most of the daggers, but one catches him in the shoulder "Damnable ice weapons..." he growls and charges at Wukei, first before he gets close lashing out at her leg with the whip to try to trip her. If she's up he swings at her chest with his sword, if she's down he tries to kick her.

[Wukei]

Wukei tumbles backward, not expecting the whip. She does a handspring to get herself back into a fighting position but is cut at the midtorso as Merant swings. She grimaces a bit but kicks forward into his face before completing the tumble backwards into a standing position.

Mhina watches the two move. I can't get a good shot without hitting her, she calls telepathically to Lykan.

[Lykan]

Lykan growls, snapping his fingers in hopes that a wave of sonic energy blasts towards Merant.

Assuming that he had created an antipsionic feild, Lykan leaps behind a rock and pulls out something akin to a magic bazooka, and lines up a shot where he would hit Merant but not Wukei

Fly over the top of him... Rain down ice on him, create a distraction. Your mom could use the help.

[Hawkeye]

Merant has set up an antipsionic field so the power fizzels

Merant gets hit with Wukei's kick, as he wasn't expecting it and steps back a few paces. He advances on Wukei, and moves to strike with sword. He feints, disappearing from his current position and reappearing a few feet to the left of her. He strikes out lightning fast with the hilt of his sword

[Wukei]

Wukei brings the twin longswords up to move his sword up and kicks up into his face. She then attempts to bring one of the swords down to stab at him while stepping to the side, her other sword still keeping his at bay.

(This is all an attempt...I'm not godmodding! *breathes heavily from the exertion and passes out*)

Mhina nods to Lykan and moves around a bit so that she's directly behind Merant and shoots an ice spear at his back.

[Lykan]

Lykan fires the gun, praying that he doesn't hit Wukei. Where it strikes the ground, something like a thundercrack rips outward...

[Hawkeye]

Merant's sword does indeed get caught, however he bats away her foot so she's offbalance and the sword she was bringing down misses. He sidesteps and kicks out at her, but then after that gets caught by the ice spear and just by Lykan's gun. He staggers back a few paces, shaking his head to clear it

[Wukei]

Wukei gets knocked off balance and falls to the ground, but draws a gun and fires at Merant. She doesn't have time to perfectly aim the gun, however. She then attempts to stand.

[Lykan]

Lykan tosses aside the gun

Okay, that's not gonna work.

He pulls out a small figurine of a worm

Heads up! Err... Down!

... Watch out!

Lykan chucks the effigy at the feet of Merant, which promptly buries into the ground. A giant worm erupts from the ground, black and red with a maw large enough to swallow an elephant whole. It attempts to chomp up Merant...

[Hawkeye]

Merant sees the gun and rolls far to the right towards Wukei, and so away from the worm that Lykan threw. From the floor he kicks up at the Wukei's chest as she stands, and keeping an eye out for the worm

[Lykan]

The worm receeds into the ground

Damn... Time for an oldie-with-an-extra-catch thing...

He pulls out what appear to be a bola with bluish glass balls instead of stones at the end. He swings it around his head several times before throwing it at Merant.

[Wukei]

Wukei stumbles back and brings forward her one remaining sword and thrusts. With her other hand she reaches into her belt for another gun. She brings the gun up to shoot. I don't want him to die, Lykan! She stares at Merant, her eyes narrowed, Is it even possible for him to die...or will I be the only one to die, due to our link?

Mhina winces as she watches the fight progress. She throws a sharp discus of ice at Merant's side.

[Hawkeye]

From the ground, Merant sees his sword, he rises quickly and reaches out towards it. It comes to his hand and he lunges at Wukei. Then the bola's hit his legs and a blast of sonic energy knocks him over again. The ice discus goes over his head, as he's on the ground again

[Lykan]

Lykan shifts to wolf form and tries to gain the grapple benifit of being a size larger while attempting it on a prone target

Keyah!

[Wukei]

Wukei stumbles a bit but as Merant hits the ground she takes the opportunity to step forward and points her sword down at Merant's neck.

Mhina attempts to create an ice cage around the demon god.

[Hawkeye]

Merant from the floor brings his own sword up to parry Wukei's sword from getting close to his neck. He then gets tackled and is pinned to the floor by Lykan, but still somehow parrying against Wukei's sword. His body errupts in hellflame.

The ice prison traps both Merant and Lykan, as Lykan's on top of Merant.

[Wukei]

No! Mhina releases the prison quickly.

Wukei reaches in and pulls Lykan away from Merant.

[Lykan]

Lykan is pulled away in a pile of burnt fur and cooked flesh, he gets up gingerly and flops to the ground. He tries to speak, but all tha comes out s a series of ragged coughs. Lykan begins to concentrate, the flesh turning from charcoal to fur covered in a slow process...

[Hawkeye]

"One down..." Merant grins and flips behind Wukei, his sword coming to hand
"No!"
"Heh, who are you to try and stop me?"
"You can't do this!"
"Watch me..."
He plunges the sword towards Wukei's back

[Wukei]

Wukei feels the sword slip into her back almost as easily as one pulls on a shoe. At first there was no pain. Until the first cough. She looks back into Merant's eyes, sadly. She then grabs his chin and kisses him, tears running down her face. Come back for me...things will turn out all right...I promised... Her hand lowers as she looses strength and she grips the blade of the sword, expertly, trying to push it out.

Mhina watches from some distance, horrified. Lykan! Mom! A white fire surrounds her and she sends it at Merant, angrily.

[Hawkeye]

Merant looks at Wukei in something between glee and horror
"Yes..."
"No! Wu!"
He closes his eyes shut and when he opens them they are Hawkeye's blue. Hawkeye quickly and desperately tries to heal her and pull out the sword, but then after that he gets hit by Mhina's fire. He slumps to the floor.

[Lykan]

Lykan pads over slowly to where the two bodies lay

We need to get to some clerics... Come over here, I'm taking us back home.

[Wukei]

Mhina walks over, slowly, shaking. She'd heard her father's voice in the last moments. If he was dead it was because of her.

[Lykan]

Lykan teleports them to the Agency.

[Merant]

The 46th layer of Azzagrat. Merant and Loki appear on the bleak wildnerness, set out as the episode above. A ring of demons surround the pair, although at a respectful distance, watching to see the next move. Merant moves away from Loki "I hope you like one part of my home, as it's the last thing you'll see in this incarnation." he grins

[Wukei]

Loki smiles weakly. I'm used to the hells and the abyss. Don't think this will scare me.

[Merant]

Merant cracks his knuckles "Fair enough Loki, it's not like you'll be here long anyway. You remember the terms of our agreement don't you?" he raises an eyebrow at Loki "...although I see your mortal now...and not in a good shape anyway"

[Wukei]

He smiles, I did make a promise that for you to give me Hawkeye and leave him alone, I wouldn't fight with my powers. Well, no powers. He raises his arms as though he's waiting to be inspected for weapons.

[Merant]

Merant snorts "So you armed with nothing more than you're skin and bones? This isn't any fun at all." he glances at one of the demons surrounding the link, and reaches out a hand. A wicked looking sword that the demon was carrying flies out of it's hand and travels over to Merant. Merant throws this on the ground in front of Loki "Here, you might be a little bit of fun if you're armed"

[Wukei]

Loki bends down and picks up the sword, apparently leaving himself open.

[Merant]

Merant grins "Ready to die Loki?" two swords appear in Merants hands, one a firey red, the other an icy white

[Wukei]

He smiles. I've been waiting all of my life... He brings the sword up defensively.

[Hawkeye]

Merant grins again and runs at Loki, slashing at his chest with the ice sword and keeping the other for defense

[Wukei]

He brings the sword up to block Merant's weapon and he sweeps down, bringing a leg forward to knock him off his feet.

[Merant]

Merant laughs and nimbly leaps aside out of the way of Loki's leg "Is that the best you can do Loki?" he slashes at the leg with the fire sword, and stabs towards Loki's chest with the ice sword

[Wukei]

Loki winces as he's struck by both weapons. I'm too old for this shock. He stands the best he can with the wounds and thrusts forward with the blade.

[Merant]

Merant, still grinning, bats Loki's sword aside with one of his swords, then slashes down quickly with the other at Loki's shoulder

[Wukei]

Loki cries out in pain and kicks forward at Merant's chest.

[Merant]

The kick lands...and Merant doesn't move. He grabs Loki's leg and throws it aside, slashing down at Loki's arm that's holding the sword

[Wukei]

Loki staggers back, holding the now useless limb with his other hand.

[Merant]

Merant gives a triumphant grin "This is where it ends for you Loki" he leaps forwards, slashing at Loki's chest with one sword and his neck with the other

[Wukei]

Loki falls back, the gaping wound on his neck smiling morbidly.

[Merant]

The surrounding demons inch a little bit closer to the fight, Merant steps around Loki and grins. He slices down at Loki's neck, attempting to decapitate him, keeping the other sword ready for any tricks that might be pulled at the end.

[Wukei]

Loki doesn't move and is decapitated quite easily.

[Merant]

Merant roars with laughter. He looks at the surrounding demons "Thank for watching, have a treat" He picks up Loki's body and throws it to the surrounding demons, who tear it to pieces. Merant picks up Loki's head, looks into his lifeless eyes for a moment before disappearing in a cloud of red smoke.

[Merant]

Merant appears in the same place as above with Wukei. He takes a step back and grins at her.

[Wukei]

Wukei frowns and steps away from him. Great...but you've forgotten that he has stronger powers.

[Merant]

Merant smiles "We shall to see then, when he gets here. I'm sure it'll take a while so," he then grins evily "what are we to do in the meantime?"

[Wukei]

Wukei frowns. You're going to keep away from me.

[Merant]

Merant laughs "Aww, I thought we could have some fun, it's not like we haven't done it before."

[Wukei]

Wukei growls, And what do you mean by that?

[Merant]

"Heh, work it out for yourself." Grinning evily "Oh, I meant to set this up beforehand" he snaps his fingers and a wooden pointy stick appears in the ground, with Loki's head on the end "What do you think?"

[Wukei]

Wukei shakes with fury and strikes out at him.

[Merant]

Merant laughs and catches her hand "I do aim to please Wukei"

[Wukei]

She throws a knee at his groin.

[Merant]

Merant dodges just "Well I'd love to dance all day long with you but," he kicks out at Wukei's leg remaining on the ground "But be like good bait and stay still until called for"

[Wukei]

Wukei pulls away, stumbling back.

[Merant]

Merant tilts his head "Ah, he's coming" a sword appears in his hand and he points it at Wukei "Be a nice girl and don't move please"

[Wukei]

Wukei scowls. Like I'm going to listen to you.

[Merant]

"No you never did and you never will. Unfortunate because we could have made such a great pair"

[Wukei]

Wukei makes a disgusted face.

[Merant]

Merant gives an evil grin "Well we'll just have to change that..." he casts a powerful charm spell on Wukei

[Wukei]

Wukei seems to try to fight off the charm but relaxes almost immediately. She smiles at him.

[Merant]

Merant smiles, the sword disappears from his hand. He reaches out and drags Wukei towards him "Now when he shows up keep quiet until the right moment, you'll know when that is"

[Wukei]

She nods, her body complete putty in his grip.

[Merant]

Merant grins "Good" he kisses her forcibly.

At that point Hawkeye appears a short distance away from them, a glowing blue sword in his hands. "Merant, this time you've gone too far!"

Merant smiles, he steps behind Wukei and puts an arm around her neck in a choke hold, but not applying any pressure "Well we have quite a situation here don't we?" in Wukei's ear "Don't move for now"

[Wukei]

Wukei stands completely still.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye scowls at Merant "State your terms"

Merant laughs "Excellent, straight down to business. The deal I agreed with Loki was that I didn't approach you at all, this is a problem because now I've got Loki's head" he nods towards the grotesque monument "I want yours. So here it is, you agree to face me in combat, one on one, no holds barred. If you agree to this, Wukei goes free."

Hawkeye nods "Agreed. You can face me. And you will die doing so."

Merant grins "We shall see about that." he releases Wukei and steps away "There you're free"

Hawkeye turns to Wukei "Wu, I said I'd protect you, so get away and let me deal with this thing" Merant grins at Wukei and nods.

[Wukei]

Wukei frowns at Hawkeye. He's not holding me. I am here of my own will.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye's mouth opens "What?"

Merant grins and leaps to attack Hawkeye while he's distracted, two swords appearing in his hands striking from both sides. Hawkeye notices this at the last moment, blocks one with his sword but takes the other in his side, cutting deep. He gasps and collapses to one knee, staring at Wukei in disbelief

"....Wu?"

[Wukei]

Wukei seems to tense and her ears lower a bit in sadness, but the charm continues to hold and she makes no move to help Hawkeye, nor to speak to him.

[Merant]

Merant grins "She's mine Hawkeye, she always has been" he steps away slightly and swings down with one of his swords hard. Hawkeye uses his offhand to cover his wound and blocks Merants strike with his sword, which drives him to both knees. Hawkeye winces at the impact he glances over at Wukei. "Wukei? Speak to me..."

[Wukei]

Wukei tenses. Why?

[Merant]

Merant grins "Yes indeed babe, why should she speak to you?" he drives downwards with the sword he struck with last time and swings towards Hawkeyes injured side with the other. Hawkeye gets caught in the side again, but remains upright.

Through gritted teeth "Because I love you Wu" Hawkeye brings up his offhand quickly to Merant's chest and he sends a ball of holy energy to it. Merant gets sent sent flying back, and leaves his sword in Hawkeye's side.

[Wukei]

Wukei tenses again, some of the charm seeming to lose effect. Hawkeye...I...

[Merant]

Merant turns to Wukei and tries to reinforce the charm "You want to spend the eternity with me don't you?"

Hawkeye uses this time to pull the sword out of his side and leap quickly to his feet. He dives at Merant and this time catches him in the side. Merant howls, turns quickly back and swats Hawkeyes sword aside with his own and steps back.

Merant growls "You'll pay for every drop of blood of mine you spill"

[Wukei]

The charm takes effect just as Wukei was about to move toward Hawkeye and she stops in her tracks.

[Merant]

Merant grins "That's a good girl"

Hawkeye growls "What have you done to her?!" he swings towards Merant's chest.

"Oh, nothing that wouldn't have happend eventually." Merant blocks the sword, and pushes it aside with great strength knocking Hawkeye off balance. Merant quickly steadies himself and strikes out at Hawkeye, catching his shoulder. "Oh, this is almost too easy!"

[Wukei]

Wukei's hand twitches, but otherwise she doesn't move.

[Merant]

Hawkeye backs away, his wounds healing slightly but not quickly "Wukei...please..."

Merant grins, ignoring the wound he's got. He feints, and steps quickly to one side striking out and hitting Hawkeye's injured side once again

[Wukei]

Wukei scowls, her eyes slightly glazed over. Are you so weak that you need a mortal to fight your battles?

[Merant]

Merant grins "See? She's mine"

Hawkeye glares at Merant "Give. Her. Back!" he leaps at a godly speed at Merant, and stabs his sword towards his chest. Merant only just blocks this and is driven several feet backwards.

Merant glances over at Wukei "Oh, be a good girl and stay there" he quickly casts a spell to paralyze Wukei upright "It's for my own good, trust me"

[Wukei]

Wukei's eyes widen as she's paralyzed.

[Merant]

Hawkeye growls and attacks Merant several times, seeming to get stronger with every blow. Merant can do nothing to defend at this point, and gets hit twice.

"Give up Merant, you can't win"

"You're wrong, because you stick to the rules, I see them as not even guidelines" he glances over his shoulder and grins "Right babe?"

[Wukei]

Wukei, each time Merant is struck, seems to regain a bit of herself. Hawkeye's...still stronger.

[Merant]

Merant scowls at Wukei "What?"

Hawkeye strikes out at Merant and cuts him deeply in the side. Merant screams and backs away. He turns to Wukei glaring "You've outlived you're usefulness" he throws his sword towards her and dashes for his other on the ground.

"Wu!" Hawkeye teleports over in front of her, and takes the sword in the shoulder

[Wukei]

Wukei tries to fight the paralysis and fails, though the charm has completely fallen. Hawkeye...are you all right?

[Merant]

Merant scrabbles around for his sword

Hawkeye looks at Wukei and smiles faintly "Only if you are" he turns towards Merant, he rips the sword from his shoulder and throws it at him. He teleports to one side of Merant and strikes out at him with his sword, glowing blue, just as the thrown sword would reach.

Merant gets his sword, and just gets it up in time to deflect the thrown one. He doesn't see Hawkeye until the last moment, and is run thrugh by him.

[Wukei]

Wukei sees the strike and cheers.

[Hawkeye]

Merant looks at Hawkeye, mouth open.

Hawkeye smiles grimly, he withdraws his sword and swings it at Merant's neck, cutting straight through it. Merant's head drops to the floor, grinning with lifeless eyes, as his body slumps over sideways. The paralysis spell goes away, and Hawkeye drops to his knees breathing very shallowy and he coughs up some blood.

[Wukei]

Wukei immediately is at Hawkeye's side, kneeling beside him. Are you okay?

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye looks at Wukei and smiles "I am now" he quickly turns to one side and coughs up some more blood, he winces "Actually maybe not..."

[Wukei]

Let's get back...we should see Fenric.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye nods, and winces "What should we do with that" he gestures towards Merant's dead body

[Wukei]

She frowns at it. Leave it for the demons to rip up...they enjoy that kind of thing.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye nods "Lets." He stands up shakily "Ready to get out of here?"

[Wukei]

She nods. Are you going to be okay?

[Hawkeye]

"Yeah" he spits out some more blood "As long as you're here"

[Wukei]

Wukei supports him. Thank you for coming after me. And believing in me, even after I said those things to you... She remembers the kiss from Merant and shivers.

[Hawkeye]

"I'll always come after you, even into the hells." he looks around the plane "This place is close enough to that. And I'll always believe in you." he steadies himself slightly and winces but tries to hide it "Ready to go?"

[Wukei]

She nods, continuing to support him.

[Hawkeye]

"Where to?"

[Wukei]

Inari's, to get you healed.

[Hawkeye]

"Ok Wu..." Hawkeye concentrates and they disappear from the plane

[Merant]

A tiny red spark rises up from where Merants heart was "Well that's just great...this is getting slightly irritating that people won't allow me to be in a body for more than a week." several curses and swears for vengeance utter closely after from it, and it speeds away off camera.

A passing pack of demons notice the body, they come over and tear it up in much glee
