Chaotic Reflections: As the spell Detect Chaositech

Descriptions

Chaotic Reflections
Fundamental
Level/School: 0/Divination
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: 1 round/level (D)

This mystery functions like the spell detect chaositech, except as noted above. You can detect chaositech up to 30 feet away.

Detect Chaositech (psionic)
Clairsentience
Level: Lurk 1, Psion/wilder 1, psychic warrior 1
Display Auditory and visual
Manifesting Time: 1 standard action
Range: 60 ft.
Area: Cone-shaped emanation centered on you.
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 min/level (D)
Saving Throw: None
Power Resistance: No
Power Points: 1

You detect chaositech devices. The amount of information this power reveals depend on how long you study a particular area or subject:
1st Round: Presence or absence of chaositech devices
2nd Round: Number of different chaositech auras and the strength of the strongest aura
3rd Round: The strength of each aura, indicating the power of the device.
Notes: From each round to another, a manifester can turn to detect things in a new area. Detect powers can penetrate barriers, but 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or a yard of wood or dirt blocks them.

SOULS OF CHAOS: CHAOSITECH MELDSHAPING

While most chaositech devices are forged of steel, bone, and flesh, some meld shapers have learned to shape raw chaos and incarnum to create soulmelds that simulate the effects of chaositech devices. Soulmelds of the chaosimeld descriptor are subject to the same rules that apply to intrinsic items.

Class Features
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A machine psion gains no new proficiencies.

Powers Known: When a character gains a new machine psion level (except for 4th and 8th level), he gains additional power points per day and access to new powers as if he had also gained a level in whatever manifesting class he belonged to before he added the prestige class. They do not, however, gain any other benefits a character of the class would have gained. If they had more than one manifesting class before becoming a machine psion, they must decide to which class to add each level for the purpose of determining power points per day, powers known, and manifester level.

Ability Score Bonuses (Ex): The machine psion continually upgrades his physical form, gaining inherent bonuses as listed in the table above.

Psicircuits (Ex): The machine psion can create machine-based power enhancement devices that he implants within his own body. A power can be imbedded into the psicircuit for various effects. It takes the machine psion a full minute to imbed a power withinthe device by manifesting the power into it. Each of these devices provide a different effect.
Red Psicircuit: A power imbedded within this device can be manifested with no verbal or somatic displays. Usable once per day. Gained at 2nd level.
Blue Psicircuit: A power imbedded within this device can be manifested as a free action. Usable once per day. Gained at 4th level.
Green Psiciruit: A power imbedded within this device can be manifested at a level equal to the machine psions's manifester level +2. Usable once per day. Gained at 6th level.
Grey Psicircuit: A power imbedded within this device can be manifested as if maximized. Useable once per day. Gained at 8th level.
Black Psicircuit: A power imbedded within this device can be manifested with no verbal or somatic displays, at +2 manifester level, maximized, as a free action. Usable once per day. Gained at 10th level.

Chaositech Servant (Ex): At 4th level, the machine psion gains a chaositech servant (see below).

Difficult to Dispel (Ex): By 8th level, the machine psion has so infused his own powers within chaositech principles that traditional means of dispelling psionics don't always work against his chaos-powered powers. Add +4 to the Difficulty Class to dispel a machine psion's powers, thanks to this ability.

Upon or after reaching 4th level, a machine psion can create a clockwork creature to serve him. Use the statistics of a homunculus for this chaositech servant. The machine psion's servant gains further Hit Dice and special abilities based on its creator's character level (see table above).
The machine psion may only have one chaositech servant at a time. Should the servant die, he may create another one after one day. The new chaositech servant has all the accumulated abilities due a servant of the machine psion's current level.
The chaositech servant is a special type of chaosomaton.
Machine Psion Character Level: This column refers to the character level of the machine psion.
Bonus Hit Dice: These extra d8 Hit Dice improve the servant's base attack and base save bonuses, as normal.
Natural Armor: This serves as a bonus to the servant's natural armor rating.
Strength Adjustment: Add this figure to the servant's Strength score.
Intelligence: This is the servant's Intelligence score.
Improved Evasion (Ex): If the servant is subject to an attack that normally allows a Reflex saving throw for half damage, it takes no damage on a successful saving throw and only half damage on a failed one.
Share Powers (Su): The machine psion may elect to have any power he manifests on himself to also affect his servant. This servant must be within arm's reach at the time of manifesting. A power with a duration other than instantaneous stops affecting the servant if it moves more than 5 feet away. The power's effect is not restored even if the servant returns to the machine psion before the duration would otherwise have ended. Additionally, the machine psion may manifest a power with a target of "You" on his servant (as a touch range spell) instead of on himself. The machine psion and servant can share powers even if the powers normally do not affect creatures of the servant's type.
Empathic Link (Su): The machine psion has an empathic link with the servant, to a distance of up to one mile. He cannot see through the servant's eyes, but the two can communicate telepathically. The servant's Intelligence score limits what it can communicate or understand, and even intelligent servants see the world differently than humans, so misunderstandings may take place.
Because of the empathic link between the servant and the machine psion, the machine psion has the same connection to a place or time that the servant does.
Share Saving Throws: The servant uses its own base save bonuses or the machine psion's, whichever is higher.
Speak with Machine Psion: The machine psion and servant can communicate verbally as if they were using a common language. Other creatures do not understand the communication without magical help.
Chaositech Bond: The servant gains a +2 bonus on all attacks, checks, and saves if it witnesses the machine psion being threatened or harmed. This bonus lasts as long as the threat remains immediate and apparent.
Power Resistance: The servant's power resistance equals the machine psion's level + 5. If another manifester tries to affect the servant with a power, that manifester must take a manifester level check at least equal to the servant's power resistance in order to affect it.

Class Features

Mysteries: When a character gains a new machine shadow level (except for 4th and 8th level), he gains new mysteries known and an increase in caster level as if they had gained a level in their mystery-using class. They do not, however, gain any other benefits a character of the class would have gained. If they had more than one mystery-using class before becoming a machine shadow, they must decide to which class to add each level for the purpose of determining mysteries known, caster level, and uses per mystery per day.

Ability Score Bonuses (Ex): The machine shadow continually upgrades his physical form, gaining inherent bonuses as listed in the table above.

Shadowcircuits (Ex): The machine shadow can create machine-based mystery enhancement devices that he implants within his own body. A mystery can be imbedded into the shadow circuit for various effects. It takes the machine shadow a full minute to imbed a mystery within the device by using the mystery on it. Each of these devices provide a different effect.

Black Shadowcircuit: A mystery imbedded within this device can be cast with no verbal or somatic components, at +2 caster level, maximized, as a free action. .Usable once per day. Gained at 10th level.

Chaositech Servant (Ex): At 4th level, the machine shadow gains a chaositech servant (see below). If the machine shadow has the shadow familiar feat, they may apply the dark template to the chaositech servant.

Difficult to Dispel (Ex): By 8th level, the machine shadow has so infused his own mysteries within chaositech principles that traditional means of dispelling magic down always work against his chaos-powered magic. Add +4 to the Difficulty Class to dispel a machine shadow's mystery, thanks to this ability.

I don't have a lot as of yet, in fact I don't have anything, but here I plant the seed that I wish to grow. If you have any ideas, requests, so on. Just post them. This will, obviously, branch from the book: Chaositech.

As ideas come to me, i'll add them. But I do not want to be entirely alone in this matter.

Chaositech- now THERE'S a blast from the past! I even still have the book! I haven't seen anyone try to expand on the original rules, so I am getting a kick out of this.

One of my favorite parts of the book is the chaositech that deals with ghosts.
