Hello folks.

I'm looking to make a character after a certain 'theme' of chaos and randomness. I'm aware that randomness usually does not favor the players, and that a lack of control is usually undesirable, but I'm looking for chancy options all the same.

I'm trying to hunt down every spell, magic item, archetype, etc., that involves random chance, whether it be rolling on a random table or some other form of inconsistent results. Think 'Rod of Wonder' here (I'll certainly be trying to get my hands on one of those ASAP).

Things I'm looking at:

The Primalist wizard archetype

The Spellscar oracle mystery

The Prismatic X line of spells (Spray, Wall, Sphere, etc.)

Rod of Wonder, Bag of Tricks, etc.

Can we attempt to compile a list of such things? I'm looking to make a caster, as close to a 'wild mage' as I possibly can manage.

The confusion spell, of course!

Also impart mind (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/i/impart-mind), teleport, reincarnate, spell turning, contact other plane and likely others.

Edit: harrowing (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/h/harrowing) and the harrower (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/e-h/harrower) PrC might match your criteria.

Don't forget the Deck of Many Things. That is ... if you are really TRYING to be random. :smallamused:
