So,
If you have a high spell-casting attribute and it gives you spells that you theoretically aren't a high enough level caster to cast those spells, do they just sit there until you can cast them?
My DM used to just say that excess ones add to your highest spells castable per day.
[So if you had one bonus 3rd, 2nd, and 1st level spell each, but you could only cast 1st level spells, you would get 3 bonus 1st level spells. Then when you can cast 2nd level spells, it changes to 1 bonus 1st level spell and 2 2nd level spells.]
So is this the correct way to do this?
