alright now, as I seem to see nothing as to how something would work..

so here's the basic idea.

ranger from team A fires a raptorian arrow at the monk in team B.

the monk has both deflect arrow, and snatch arrow.

thus, he can catch, and throw the raptorian arrow back at the ranger.

Who does the raptorian arrow return to?

question 2.

let's say teamB won the fight. and the monk keeps the arrow.
let's also say he's a drunken master.

using an arrow by itself is an improvised weapon, that's just fine for a drunken master.

can he throw it to add his unarmed damage?

question 3.
does the raptorian arrow return the the monk when thrown?

alright, now we go full silly.

let's say this monk is a warforged, and he took lightning fists AND beast strike.

he gets to add is 1d6 slam to his unarmed strike.
he also, 1/round can take x=bab damage to deal xd4 lightning damage to said slam.

at lv15, 10 bab. 1d12+1d6+2d6+10d4(taking 10 damage)
stabing with said arrow.
can he throw it for the same damage?
you know, as a ranged improvised weapon via drunken master?

would it still count as an unarmed strike, and thus a slam?

does the raptorian arrow provide the drunk with an improvised returning weapon?

silly question, but ones I would like answers to.

Well, if you read the rules for the Drunken Master Improvised Weapon ability, it doesn't include any language specifying that it only applies to melee combat, so presumably you can apply your unarmed damage to improvised weapons that you throw.

However, Raptor Arrows are pretty clear:

At the beginning of the round after it was fired from a bow, a raptor arrow wrenches itself from whatever it hit, flies up to 400ft through the air, and restrings itself in the bow from which it was fired.

So while a monk could throw one, it wouldn't return to him. It looks like it would return to the ranger in your scenario.

So with the Raptor arrow, if the Ranger where to miss and the Monk to hit, the Ranger would take another 1d8 of dmg, when it returns to his bow at the begining of his next turn. Funny.
