So, Kensai says it can improve all your natural attacks with magical properties. And NoNA iirc does the same thing, each one has additional cost(though the one for Kensai seems negligible, +10% per extra Natural Weapon).

So is there something stopping these two from stacking? It doesn't seem like they are actually making them into magical weapons, thus making them free the restrictions?

Could you get 10 properties from Kensai, and a +5 NoNA with +5 in special properties?

I believe because it's intended to emulate a magic weapon, it prevents the two from stacking for the same reason you can't normally do such a thing with your weapons. However, considering it's the Kensai's main shtick, my DM has allowed us to do so with less balance impact than one might imagine.

First, a Kensai can't improve *all* of your natural attacks. Only all of a given type. So if you have 4 claws and 1 bite, you can either do 4 claws or the 1 bite, not both.

Relevant text for Kensai: The signature weapon then becomes a magic weapon (if it wasn’t already).

Relevant text for NoNA: The enhancement bonuses on this necklace are applied to attack and damage rolls involving one or more of the wearer's natural weapons.

It seems to me they overlap, but only for enhancement bonuses. The abilities stack. So if you were a level 1 Kensai with a +1 Necklace of Natural Attacks, you only get +1 to attack and damage. But if you're a level 10 Kensai you could have your set of natural weapons be +1 Flaming Frost Keen Speed and your +5 NoNA could give +5 to attack and damage. Or +6 NoNA with +5 to attack and damage and Shock.

*Or* you can use MIC guidelines for combining magic items and be a level 10 Kensai with a +10 NoNA and a +5 AoMF. +5 to attack and damage from the AoMF, +9 ability stuff from each Kensai and NoNA.
