Need help pricing a magic item

A cloak that grants its wearer the Deflect Arrows feat.
Also, what would be the price if the ability had limited uses, let's say 2/day?

I don't have time at the moment to dig up numbers for you, but off the top of my head, I'd compare to the price of a Ring of Evasion, and I'd look at the price of a 2nd level sor/wiz spell that lasts 10 min/level as a cts effect (with, probably, a discount for reduced options). The latter because there's a spell called "HEroics" in the Spell Compendium which is that level and duration; its target gains 1 fighter feat of the caster's choice.

Reducing to 2 uses/day... Harder to gauge, and I personally would probably rate it as a much sharper reduction than whatever the designers of 3.5 would, because I tend to find most uses/day items grotesquely overpriced.

Gloves of Arrow Snaring do almost exactly that for 4000gp, so somewhere around that i guess.

Darn, I knew there was a similar item, but couldn't find it. So I guess I'll put it at 2,000 gp, for the reduction from Snatch to Deflect.

Unless you expect to be deflecting a lot of magic/alchemical/special material arrows rather than catching them, I wouldn't even reduce ti that much.

Also, arrowcatching is limited to just two arrows a day, with at least one hand free. Will the cloak require a free hand? If not, should probably raise the price a little.

I would cut it down only to 3500 or so, and then double it for an off-slot item as usual, so 7000gp.

But it still takes a slot (cloak). It might be RAW, but I don't think changing it from the Gloves slot to the Cloak slot is so amazingly good that it merits a 100% increase...

You can also go for unlimited uses per day. By RAW, divide the price by 0.4

Crystal of Arrow Deflection is in the MIC grants +2 to ac vs ranged attacks and allows you to deflect arrows as if you had the feat 1/round. costs is 5,000gp.

Dueling Cloak +1 of Arrow deflection would cost 9,000 gp.
