I was just wondering, about 3.5e, about if you would retain the bonuses from a spell like heroism before one happened to cast a body of war spell and change into a warforged titan

Can't speak to Body of War, but if it's like Polymorph (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/polymorph.htm) or Tenser's Transformation (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/transformation.htm) then yes you keep the morale bonus from Heroism because nothing has interrupted the Duration or countered the effect.

The problem isn't that you've cast another spell, the problem is that you're a construct immune to morale effects.

You do not continue to gain the benefit, though should the Body of War spell end before the morale bonus, you would gain it again.

Ok then, though, what about the temp hp from the spell though? Would that stay in place? Also, what about spells from the same school (and in particular, the same subschool) that grant temp hp? Would those go away as well? Or would you retain that and loose the effect of anything that happens to do with compulsion effects and the like.

You become immune to mind-affecting effects. If there is a mind-affecting effect on you, no matter what its particular effect is, you are immune to that effect.
