Rating system...?

As I was looking over a thread today, I noticed the "Rate This Thread" bit on the top right-hand corner.

What exactly does that do (other than rate the thread on the star system, thank you captain obvious)?

If anything, is there a place we can see the ratings people posted about our own threads or other's threads?

any in the ongoing section. It's under the tally of pages part. It's called 'rate this thread' if that helps.

Well...that wasn't the response I was hoping for, really.

I thought there might be a place that showed how much everyone enjoyed threads. Is that funsction no longer available. Finito. End of sentence...or is it negotionable?

I think the fact the almost none of us knew what it was answers the question...
Though if word did get out and people acutally used it I'm sure it would be...useful.

Well, If Rawhide is looking to get rid of it, then he should check in the 2017 Bugs section. Wouldn't want use voting on posts that shouldn't be around.
