Ok so I've been looking around for some enlightenment but no luck. So here goes: So If say a Divine caster took Magical training and Precocious Apprentice to give himself a 2nd level arcane spell. Than Took a level in Exalted Arcanist. Would your class be considered divine, arcane, or both to an extent?

If it were both and you took levels in Mystic theurge, would you be able to pick your single divine class twice to level up, due to it being both arcane and divine?
Essentially being able to power level your caster level.
Raw is really vague on it unless there is material I forgot or didn't read that would say otherwise.
What do you guys think.

From SRD:

When a new mystic theurge level is gained, the character gains new spells per day as if he had also gained a level in any one arcane spellcasting class he belonged to before he added the prestige class and any one divine spellcasting class he belonged to previously.

You can't level the same class twice. Even if you were a cleric/favored soul you would have to choose one to level up in, since the RAW explicitly says "one arcane, one divine".

You can, by RAW, level up in the Mystic T. class, but since you only have one casting class, that's what you'll be leveling.

Magical Training only states that you "are treated as a sorcerer or wizard of your arcane spellcaster level (minimum 1st) for the purpose of determining level-based variables of the spells you cast." [Emphasis added] It does not give you an arcane spellcaster level for any other purpose, including qualifying for feats.

Whether your DM is willing to be generous and allow it is another matter, but RAW this does not work.
