So, I'm playing a Pharasma-worshipping Oracle in one of my RL games, and I absolutely love the Diabolist class - unfortunately, devils are a no-no :P

So I was wondering if I could remake it as something more Pharasma-appropriate, and I came up with this - the Psychopomp Princess!

So yeah, any comments or anything would be really, really helpful, if you could :) I'd love to get my DM to agree to this!

Psychopomp Princess

Some face damnation willingly. Others dedicate themselves to a life of virtue, hoping their actions in this life will ensure them well-deserved bliss in the world beyond. And some know their fate is predetermined – for the Goddess of Prophecy has foreseen their actions, and how they will live after their death. And so, such spellcasters ally themselves with Pharasma, be it a religious calling, a matter of principle, or an alliance forged from necessity. Whatever the reason, these spellcasters find themselves channeling a little of the divinity of the Lady of Graves’ servants themselves – and they are known as the Psychopomp Princesses.

Class Features

All of the following are Class Features of the Psychopomp Princess prestige class.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Psychopomp Princesses gain no proficiency with any weapon or armor.

Spells per Day
When a new Psychopomp Princess level is gained, the character gains new spells per day as if she had also gained a level in a spellcasting class she belonged to before she added the prestige class. She does not, however, gain other benefits a character of that class would have gained. If a character had more than one spellcasting class before becoming a Psychopomp Princess, she must decide to which class she adds each level of Psychopomp Princess for the purpose of determining spells per day.

Prejudged
When a Psychopomp Princess is killed, her soul is fast-tracked for judgment, and becomes more difficult to resurrrect. Any character attempting to resurrect her must succeed at a caster level check equal to 10 + the Psychopomp Princess's level or her spell fails. That character cannot attempt to resurrect the Psychopomp Princess again until the following day, though other characters can attempt as they please.

Nosoi Companion
A Psychopomp Princess forms a close bond with a particular nosoi, similar to a druid's bond with an animal companion. The nosoi is loyal to the Psychopomp Princess (though ultimately loyal to Pharasma). The nosoi companion's abilities, feats, Hit Dice, and skills advance as the Psychopomp Princess advances in level (see sidebar). If the nosoi is slain or the Psychopomp Princess releases it from her service, she may gain a new one by performing a ceremony requiring a 24-hour ritual to conjure and bind the new nosoi to herself.

Impartial Influence
A Psychopomp Princess gains a +2 bonus on all Charisma checks made when interacting with psychopomps. This bonus increases to +4 at 4th level and to +6 at 7th level.

Channel Grimdeath
At 2nd level, a Psychopomp Princess can alter spells that deal energy damage to instead deal untyped damage. She can do this as a free action a number of times per day equal to her Charisma modifier (minimum 1). Spells altered to use grimdeath lose their energy descriptors, and automatically bypass energy resistance or immunity.

Impartisan Bargain
At 2nd level, a Psychopomp Princess making use of planar ally (or a similar spell) can make an opposed Charisma check against a called (but not summoned) psychopomp. If she succeeds, the psychopomp reduces the price it demands to serve by half.

Augment Summoning
At 3rd level, a Psychopomp Princess gains the Augment Summoning feat even if she does not meet the prerequisites.

Cataloguing Last Days
Also at 3rd level, a Psychopomp Princess gains a +2 bonus on all checks made to research specific psychopomps' true names or sigils. This bonus increases to +4 at 9th level.

Cherished Soul
At 5th level, a Psychopomp Princess’ soul has been judged and immediately proceeds to its intended plane of residence. If killed by any means outside of the will of Pharasma or her Psychopomps, the Psychopomp Princess can be resurrected as normal.

Boneyard Express (Sp)
At 6th level, a Psychopomp Princess can transport herself through the Boneyard in a burst of grave dust. She may use this ability twice per day as per dimension door, or expend both uses to travel as if using teleport. She cannot use this ability to enter or leave areas warded against living creatures (such as an antilife shell).

Reaping Ray (Sp)
At 8th level, a Psychopomp Princess may use hellfire ray twice per day, except the damage is untyped (as if by the Psychopomp Princess’ Channel Grimdeath ability), and, should the ray kill a creature, its soul is immediately sent to the Boneyard for judgment and cannot be resurrected unless a caster level check is passed (as per Hellfire Ray).

Pharasmal Primadonna
At 10th level, a Psychopomp Princess has proven herself invaluable to Pharasma’s cause, and thus can make much more taxing demands of her psychopomp servants. when a Psychopomp Princess calls a psychopomp whose name she knows, she may cast the calling spell as a standard action and bargain with it as a move action. She adds half her Bluff, Diplomacy, or Intimidate modifier on the bargaining Charisma check (if any).

A Psychopomp Princess's nosoi increases in power as the Psychopomp Princess gains levels according to Table: Animal Companion Base Statistics, with the following changes.

Class Level
This is the Psychopomp Princess's class level plus her highest caster level. This does not stack with class levels that grant an animal companion.

HD
A nosoi has 10-sided (d10) Hit Dice.

BAB
This is the nosoi's base attack bonus. Nosoi do not gain additional attacks using their natural weapons for a high base attack bonus.

Saving Throws
A nosoi has good Reflex and Will saves.

Skills
Multiply the listed value by 3 to determine the nosoi's skill ranks. If the nosoi increases its Intelligence to 14 or higher, it gains bonus skill ranks as normal. Nosoi can have ranks in any skill; its class skills are Acrobatics, Bluff, Craft, Fly, Knowledge (arcana), Knowledge (planes), Perception, Sense Motive, Spellcraft, and Stealth. A nosoi cannot have more ranks in a skill than it has Hit Dice.

Feats
A nosoi may select any feat for which it qualifies.

Bonus Tricks
This indicates when a nosoi gains its choice of another alternate form, spell-like ability, or telepathy.

Alternate Form: A nosoi with this ability may choose any Tiny, Small, or Medium animal form to shift into as if using beast shape II. Each time the nosoi selects this ability, it gains a new alternate form.

Spell-Like Ability: A nosoi companion might also choose any one of the following spells to add to its list of at-will spell-like abilities: bleed, deathwatch, detect evil, detect law, doom, ghost sound, mage hand, message, open/close, or prestidigitation. Alternatively, it may choose to add any one of the following spells to its list of 1/day spell-like abilities: curse water, floating disk, grease, hold portal, identify, silent image, unseen servant, or ventriloquism.

Telepathy: The nosoi gains telepathy with a range of 50 feet, allowing it to communicate with any intelligent creature.

Link (Su)
The Psychopomp Princess has an empathic link with her nosoi to a 1 mile distance. The Psychopomp Princess can communicate emphatically with the nosoi, but cannot see through its eyes. Because of the link's limited nature, only general emotions can be shared. The Psychopomp Princess has the same connection to an item or place that her nosoi does.

Share Spells
The Psychopomp Princess may cast a spell with a target of “You” on her nosoi (as a touch spell) instead of on herself. A Psychopomp Princess may cast spells on her nosoi even if the spells do not normally affect creatures of the nosoi's type (outsider).

You might get more responses if this were formatted a bit better. Tables help tremendously, See here: http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=205677

Thankyou so much, Ms. Debihuman - I had no idea how to table, you see  Hopefully it looks a little better now?

It looks much better. Unfortunately, I'm not good at prestige classes and I'm less familiar with the Pathfinder system than I'd like to be.

It has some interesting abilities.

Travel to Pharasma's Boneyard should be planar travel.
