As the title states I'm not new to the arcane classes, but where in the past I was more akin to Necromancy and Enchantment I have elected to make a new Illusionist for my local PFS games. My question to you, play grounders, is two fold: firstly, what are your favorite tricks to play with the illusionary arts and secondly, I have a fun feat called Effortless Trickery that reads as follows
Your natural knack for illusion allows you to maintain at least one illusion spell with little effort.

Benefit: You can maintain concentration on one spell of the illusion school as a swift action. This has no effect on spells of other schools or on illusion spells with durations that don’t depend on your active concentration. While you may only maintain one spell as a swift action, you may take your move and standard actions to maintain other spells normally, if you wish.

Aside from the obvious combat benefits, what uses could you think of for the ability to effectively have an illusion up all day?

Simple trick: use illusions to hide real dangers. That empty passage? Prismatic wall. Empty room? Rust monster behind a false wall. Bridge over canyon? Nrope. Combine it with other spells to make the illusion more realistic. A high bluff plus the fly spell made that bridge look VERY real. Obviously teleport out of a room while your illusions hide other places of egress.

Illusions are powered by the bluff skill and your creativity.

Edit: I forgot to mention how deadly chain of disbelief is. Grab it if you play a specialist illusionist and watch the magic happen.
