View Full Version : Trying to Remember a Film

A friend and I watched a zombie movie a couple of years ago on demand that we've never been able to find since. My memory of the plot is a litte shady - it involved a group of people on a farm that didn't want to run from the zombies, I think because they were growing drugs there. There was also a morgue worker or gravedigger of some sort, I'm pretty sure he was bald with a beard, who ran around smacking zombies with a shovel and ended up being the cause of the zombie attack. This character is actually the reason we wanted to rewatch the film - overall it's pretty mediocre, but he absolutely stole the show with over the top ham acting. I actually thought it might have been Brian Blessed at the time, but if so it isn't on his IMDB page.

The genre is inundated with zombie b-movies, so it's been a pain trying to find it and so far we've had no luck. I was hoping maybe someone in the Playground would recognize it, though. Help us, GiTP, you're our only hope.

Zombieland? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zombieland)

If it is, the only reason I know is because Woody Harrelson is in it.

No, although that was a good one. The movie I'm thinking of had a definite b-movie feel; I would have said it was early-mid 2000's with lower quality filming, but my friend seems convinced that it was an eighties movie or something. Definitely not a blockbuster though.

This (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089907/?ref_=sr_5) is the first thing that came to mind for me from your description. Haven't seen it in a while, so I'm not definite about it. Either way makes for a fun B zombie movie.

It does look fun, but that wasn't it. I really wish I could remember more about the movie, unfortunately I don't think there was much worth remembering except for the one hilarious actor with a shovel.

Sounds like it could be Dead Meat. Wiki here. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_Meat)

Never saw it but was testing my wiki-prowess.

Nope, still not it. :/ Thanks for the attempt though.

Is it this? (http://schlockfestival.wordpress.com/2010/08/05/night-of-the-living-dead-3d-2006/) It's from 2006, but it seems to fit your description pretty well.

That's it! Thank you, have no idea why we thought it was an older movie.
