PF: Extra Smite

I've been scouring the feat links on the PRD site and haven't found Extra Smite for Pathfinder? Am I crazy thinking there should be the feat? Am I just missing it?

To the best of my knowledge "Extra Smite" does not exist in Pathfinder - presumably for balance reasons.

However pathfinder is 3.x-friendly so you could always ask your GM if you can take the 3.5 feat.

If that's a no-go another option is to go Oath of Vengeance paladin - at level 4 they can sacrifice two uses of Lay On Hands for one extra Smite Evil as a swift action.

If you then take 'Extra Lay On Hands' then it translates to an extra Smite :smallsmile:

In this case, I am the GM, so I just have to give myself permission.

Helping a player with a concept, and was just looking to see about Extra Smite. If he decides to go that route, and he wants to take, I'd probably allow it.

For what it's worth the paladin smite is significantly more powerful in PF than it was in 3.5. If you do allow the feat, I'd strongly suggest changing the effect of the feat to only allowing 1 extra smite instead of 2.
