Why can Instant Email Notification only email 61 times per thread per "conversation"?

That is, before switching to a new thread. For example, my gmail inbox sorts messages into conversations, which include messages and their responses. I'm not sure how many other inbox problems do that too. When I pull up just emails from the PbP game I'm in, it looks like this.

Sounds like a limitation in Gmail, rather than anything Rawhide can answer...

My guess, conversations are kept in a numbered array, max 60 (0-60: 61 spots).

well, I remember creating e-mail conversations with friends of over 200 mails a day... So that would not be the limitation...
