1) Please move my tower from 'business' to 'residental'. Sure, there is a semi-public library but I'm not dependent on its earnings (I would be long bankrupt if it was the case :smalltongue:).

I have gone and added a list of the first 16 "Temple of Inari" threads to the directory. My hope is to add all of them, as well as do the same for other threads (likely excluding Trogs)

I'm a bit worried that this will become very unmanagable, though, and wanted some feedback on this idea. That's why I've added those 16, to show what I'm talking about. Any ideas? Suggestions?

Depends. If you're thinking of PC dragons, that is, dragons controlled by players, then Trog's or some other place where a lot of people come often, like Inari's or the Streets, might be a good place to find and ask people if they know anything.

If you're thinking more like your character researching legends and such about local dragons, then the public library or Amiria's library might be the choice.

There are many inactive threads in the directory, but they are there so that people can go back and read what happened in them if someone feels like doing that. If it's just because the thread in question is no longer used, then I would like to keep it listed anyway.

Hmm... you're probably right that the inactive threads should be distinguished from the active ones somehow.

The "Archived Threads" list is really not meant for that, I think. It's for things like Inari's, the Streets and so on, with too many threads to show in the ordinary list.

What if I placed a * behind the name of the inactive threads to set them apart? That way they are still ordered in categories and relatively easy to find, but easily recognised as inactive.

There are many concerns with the directory, especially now that new threads pop up a lot faster than in the past. I'll probably need to find a better long-term solution sometime.

It's a bit different. Generally I sort by the number of threads, with the highest first. Other than that I normally just add things at the bottom of the list... except in the Temples part. For some odd reason I no longer remember I sort the temple part by whether it's a "temple", "shrine", "sanctuary" or whatever. Your's is a temple, so ended up last on the list of "temples", with "shrines" and such below.

As far as I can tell, no-one. The Police are out of action, and KNAVES seems to have vanished. I think that the Fourth Empire intend to establish Martial Law, but at the moment, it seems like it's every man for himself.

If under threat, you might want to try to seek protection from one of the guilds or temples, but I'm not sure how they'll react.

Incidentally, the Spear is durable as can be. It is, after all the Spear of Destiny. You can't just break it over your knee.

P.S. The flamethrower is stronger than anything used by the FE, and is also made of tin cans. Waddle Dee did that in about five minutes.

The Shadow Fiend Keep (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2886016&postcount=1) is the residence of the greater shadow fiend Fred and his underlings. This place also buys any magical item, scroll or creature they are brought. What they need them fore is unknown, but they pay a decent amount of gold in hand and ask no questions about what they buy.
The keep is located between the slums and the streets, with an entrance from both.

Summer weather around here is similar. But it can drop to the low 50's. And it can be in the 90's in October. I hate the weather here.

Hi. Sorry for not updating the directory for so long. I just haven't been around or felt like I had the time and energy to put into this. The directory needs a new caretaker, one who has the time and will to keep it updated. If anyone wants to take over, just go ahead and make a new thread.

I've cleared out the first post. It was so horribly outdated. As stated in that post, if you want the old post with all the links, just ask and I'll send it to you.

The directory has been a sore sight for a long time. Always felt bad about it, but noone seemed willing to take over.

And you may have to contact a moderator to have the new thread stickied instead of this one, I'm not sure how much they come by here.
