...that are otherwise unrelated. Still, they might generate discussion, so I won't throw them into any "ask a simple question" thread just yet.

1) If a Spellthief steals a spell from a friendly caster, does he now have the ability to use a scroll with that spell on it?

2) The War Weaver's Eldrich Tapestry does not allow you to cast "Personal" range spells on other creatures. However, the Familiar special power "Share Spells" specifically allows you to cast Personal spells as touch-range spells on the Familiar. Does this make the spell's range "touch," such that it can now be Tapestried across your other allies by touching them as well?

- No, it doesn't matter if you can cast it, only if it is on your spell list.

- Yes, sorta, no. You can cast the spell through your tapestry, but the only valid target is your familiar, so you can benefit from the extended reach, but not the multitarget abilities. See spellguard of the silvery moon fora solution.

Hm. Thanks for the pointer to Spellguard. I'll have to look it up.

On a note for spellguard shenanigans, consider the magic of the land feat, and an acorn of far travel to always count as in a natural setting.

It causes all your buff to cause healing, triggering the defensive portion of spellguard, allowing them to be cast as touch, and thus able to be cast into the weave.
